Anyone here collect stuff for a hobby?

I collect autographed baseballs, baseball cards and stamps. I enjoy the history of a lot of it, but I've started to realize that it seems a lot of people out there don't collect anything. Any takers?
 
Stamps? really?.. Baseball things cool tho. When I lived in France (I was 5) I used to take the caps of the Champaign bottles from my parents and put them in a shoe box. After 2 and a half years we moved back to Canada and I had the shoe box full. Only thing Ive ever really collected besides pokemon. and yes, I did collect them all.
 
When I was 9 I found my dad's stamp album from when he was a kid and started to fill it in. He had a heart attack about two years ago, and ever since then its kinda been a bonding thing to work together and finish the album.

Seriously, over the years I have collected a few things, but they always seemed to be motivated toward a quick turnaround financially. I think that doesn't make me a collector, so much as an ethusiast.
 
used to collect nike sb's but the community kinda died and I got into other shit

My roomate and I are currently collecting liquor bottles in our dorm room, just cause we got too lazy to throw them out so as to not get caught...but yea we have a shit load

 
coins, dont really know a lot about them but my grandpa gave me a bunch of sweet ones and i have had a collection for a while. when i was little- bottle caps, pokemon,yugi oh,duel masters,neopets cards, beyblades.... allll those money wasting kid things..
 
I used to mine gems and such before I moved. I'd go to a mine and fish out emeralds, rubies, saphires and such. Even got a piece of hiddenite, the super rare mineral that mine is famous for, worth a few hundred dollars :)
 
i used to collect marbles when i was in elementary school but some douche stole them.
 
my grand paretns are from arizona where the zuni tribe is from and they carve (other tribes do too but mine are all zuni) things called fetishes

theyre little animals carved from different stones i have a small collection but theyre cool an have symbolic meanings

i collect music. i am very proud of my music library actually

i enjoy seeking out new music that nobody knows about. kind of like the way a stamp collector collects the rare stamps i guess.
 
i collect old school skis. goodwill is a great place. my favorites are some original K2 Winter Heat's, and some old ass wood skis from the 30s. also some 80's fischers with the speckled yellow and black bases, so dope
 
my brother used to collect bottle caps, and i'd help him
i collect flies (for fly fishing), but that might not be collecting because they have a practical purpose also. still fun tho

im a jiberish whore. i just waant to collect it all, idk why.
 
i have a massive collection of baseball/football cards from when i was a lad.

now when i'm at the beach with the fam, me and my little brothers will walk along the beach and find sea glass. it might be the most fulfilling thing when you find a blue or red piece. i don't know, it's just a way for me to bond with my little bros considering i'm away at school all year.
