I have a few questions about things you said. First, where is the example of the owner waltzing around like he's "Mr. Hollywood?" In this thread there is one picture with the owner and some guy holding a pair of his skis. Are you making that statement based off of one picture, or is there something I missed? Secondly, I don't agree with your point about skiers judging appearance. What, exactly, do you have to wear to dress "skier'ish?" If he was wearing a hoodie, tall-T, a hat on, with long hair, would you take his product more seriously? Or how about the emo look? Skiers don't have one style on and off the slopes. I am not saying we skiers aren't influenced by other skiers, I'm just saying there are many different styles and sometimes it's difficult and even impossible to pick a skier out of a crowd based on what clothes they wear. Lastly, why would you not go to a party where the company you own is marketing? I am suprised that you, the college student taking marketing and advertising said that. If you the owner does not want to answer questions and educate consumers about your own company, I would not trust that company. It makes it seem like your are not confident in your product. The owner of a small company, in my mind, needs to be out there in person one on one talking to the consumer, not hiding from the consumers.
