Black mountain of maine will be holding a big air competition saturday, they asked me to go up with the cat driver and teach him how to build a big air. In all realism they only have the snow for a medium sized element at best. I know my share about park kickers and have ridden them all my life so dont give me any smartass answer's please. My question is this, what do you think is the most trickable/fun medium sized element. Picture post's and creative ideas are highly encouraged.

If its medium. Im assuming no bigger than like 45 - 50 feet, then I would recommend a step down for more air time. In my experience big step ups are good, but medium ones just usually don't offer enough time in the air. WEll thats my 2 cents.

Step ups require way more snow, so i would go with a super poppy step-down. I am starting to like step downs more, but falling sucks because you are coming out of the air from much higher, still fun tho. Tables aren't as impressive for a Big Air Jump, so i would go with Step-Down.

Step downs are lame. They feel big but you really don't get that much floaty air time. I think the best jumps are ones that have steeper take offs with lots of deep tranny.

a true table, that's really poppy and has a really long landing. like the one at playstreets, but with a huge landing so you can take it deep

i want it to be smooth and not intimidating for people to learn on. but also want a decent ammount of air involved, right now im thinking table or stepup. To anyone in Maine i really cant tell you what will end up happening but my expectations are the jump will be fun. They also have a new park which is small but enjoyable with its own T bar. Bring friends! This is there first year getting into park and if the crowd's are there they will want to expand. They have an amazing trail for a park and a surface lift just not the finance's or snowmaking.

we made a smaler version of this, its 50 feet. There was more snow then i expected. Tested it once and the trajectory was awesome
