Hitting Urban With Rink Snow

Well here in Michigan the weather through january is in the mid 40's with rain. This means my season's gonna be extremely short if my home hill opens at all. Me and my buddies are getting pretty desperate to ski so we thought up the idea of setting up handrails with rink snow. I'm sure it's been done before. For anyone who's done it is it worth it, or will it just be a waste of time and not work?

Yea its gonna be cold this weekend so hopefully places will fire up their snow guns. But then were suppose to be back in the 50's by next tuesday.
