Just wanted to give the heads upon some of the msp premieres coming through.

There is a whistler premiere and Van also

These ones below benefit local groups.

$10 -include powder magazine, whistler 2-4-1's, prizing etc, etc

Dude, you're a fucking idiot. Good luck. You're planning on doing 4 premieres in the lower mainland? And this after your "world premiere" at the Roundhouse in Whistler? And you're telling people that the 3 campus premieres will make $2000 each? You think that an SFU premiere will make $2000 AFTER a Vancouver premiere at Richards on Richards on September 17th? No, seriously, this isn't a joke? You're serious?

Have you ever set up a premiere? Wait, have you ever seen a ski movie or been to a lower mainland ski movie premiere? It seems pretty clear to me that you haven't. Otherwise, you would know better than to even think of doing something as stupid as hosting 4 Vancouver premieres.

I know MSP isn't the smartest when it comes to hiring people, but you are by far the dumbest person I've ever seen come out of their camp. And considering Steve Winter works for them, that's saying a lot.

Thanks Jib_This, I guess I've been told.

I've been doing premieres for the last few years across the country for various films, and have done that many in the lower mainland before.

We run them as fundraisers for the participating schools, as they keep %50 of the ticket money while we handle the rest of the cost involved.

As for the personal accusation of being "the fucking dumbest", you're probably right in fact....why else would I live in Hamilton.

The included whistler passes also get asses in the seats.

This tour basically keeps me employed, and lets films be seen in locales it might otherwise might not be.

You may consider this idea a stupid one, but in the past we've raised thousands for local non-profit groups, while keeping me employed in a pretty cool job....not too bad when I look at it that way.

You could always go to Warren Miller at $25 bucks a ticket, where virtually every penny goes back to the states.

No thanks, I'll take my chances with Poorboyz/Theory 3/Level 1, all of which have done an excellent job premiering movies in Vancouver/Whistler, and who do a great job of making movies.

Oh, and by Whistler passes, I assume you mean "2 for 1" coupons that are only valid at certain times of the year, like the ones Warren Miller used to/might still give out? Gee, thanks bro, you're really helping me out...

Do you feel bad knowing that you have to bribe audiences to see the movie you're repping with half-assed 2 for 1 coupons to Whistler?

Good luck with the premieres. You're going to need it.

You would have laughed at sunshine who were kind enough to give us passes which were already past the deadline date.

Did we miss your witty insults or interesting comments? No. Did we miss your presence because we know and are friends with you? No. Did we miss you because you live at/maybe study at SFU and think you're the shit like all the other fucking morons who live/study at that sheep factory?(Don't even attempt to call me out on this, I know my shit when it comes to SFU) Definitely not.

personally i love msp. they are so good. i love how much they care about the industry. and their movies are always so innovative. nothing like those repetative slow mo shots that somethign like level 1 or poorboyz would do. msp will you marry me

 
The reason why I came back is to find out information on something that interested me. Which I believe is the intention of creating a forum like this: sharing information quickly and easily. And for most people, it's their intention when they join a forum like this.
