Hitching

you can try right on the taylor way on ramp, or you can find a pull out when the upper levels highway turns into the sea to sky. i recommend having a sign at taylor way. i think on the sea to sky is better, but its tougher to access. make sure you stand somewhere drivers can see you for a long time coming, and there is a good spot for them to pull over into. there is a spot with one of those natives hat info booths and a mini parking lot which is good and another spot just past is has a nice straightaway and pullout too. your choice.

ill probably be giving alot of skiers rides up to whistler from squamish this year because im getting a vehicle, so if i see any skiers hitchin it, your in luck

this, and don't hitch at horseshoe bay.it's really hard for people to get picked up along the sea to sky esp. right out of vancouver, but you should always check craigslist ride share and stuff, people throw up ads all the time.

before they put in the new highway I would always hitch from horseshoe bay, right by the bridge that heads into horseshoe bay... but the new highway put an end to all that.

a couple weeks ago i gave a guy up that was hitching a ride from the second narrows. But yea i would agree with the taylor way comment. Give the drive a lot of notice and room for him to pull over
