Hitching post at horseshoe bay

alright, so i don't know if anyone else has noticed, but i was sitting around having a picnic by the eagle bluffs this summer, and driving by on my way to the ferry terminal - and when the new section of highway is finished, the hitching post at the bridge into horseshoe bay village will be obsolete. how are people going to hitch north on the sea to sky from now on? yet another reason to hate the olympics i suppose.

maybe because of all the money being pumped into the area, these slacker hippy hitch-hikers will be able to find out what it is like to get a job, and pay for the bus. or even buy an suv!!

grow up. 2010 is going to be awesome!

oh yea, and if you feel strongly about this - i could get into a debate with you about how everything you just said is wrong.

but did you not notice the port o potty beside the regular hitch spot?

eeeeeh, your tax dollars at work, hows that for highway improvements?

but for real, a new hitch spot will develop. dont worry

I dunno, I usually hitch at the bridge before the ferry booths, (not the one into the village, traffic is going to fast to stop) where the highway used to offramp to that stop sign when the construction started. Hitchers will find a place, don't you worry.
