i have not read the book unfortunately. i was always under the impression that it was some cheesy college self help book from the 70's for some reason. i never had any idea it was a novel about intergalactic management and human satire.
but...
since i haven't seen the movie, i'd like to say for those that also haven't that you will probably like it. it may never measure up to the book - as almost every movie doesn't - but that doesn't change the fact that its incredibly entertaining and satisfying. i predict that for those that haven't seen the movie, this one is going to become an instant favorite.
furthermore, it proves that british humor is the greatest of all (don't argue with me).
the visuals are aweome, mos def cements his presence and the humor does not stop...ever.
best part of the movie is when that guy missed the bus. look closely.
