haha holy shit i was at the zoo earlier today and was watching a hippo take a dump (not exactly my prime intention at the time). but no. he couldnt simply take a dump; he had the urge to wag his tale at a high rate of speed effectively spraying his feces over a vast percentage of his enclosure, promptingly grossing me and my girlfriend the fuck out.

turns out they spread their shit to mark their territory when they're dominant males, fucking boss.
