Today I went into my local organic market with my mom to get lunch and i realized how fucking much I hate hippies. the only reason people look up to hippies (or at least think of them as equals) rather than look down upon them is because they do shit loads of drugs and they listen to semi-good music. but if one will look closely at the lifestyle of a hippie they would realize that this kind of person is a distinguishingly a lower form of human being for several distinct reasons. First why are their kids always so fucking dirty. the reason their hippies is because they feel regular food is bad for them and so they have to be healthy, but obviously being clean does not fall under the category of being healthy even though overwhelming evidence show that it does. just as a proof of point next time you see a hippie look for their kid and you will see that its hair is matted to its head with grease (organic oil, not hydrogenated, thank god) their is little stains of snot above its lower lip, and mud stains on its face clothe and all other possessions. Second "What makes them special". uh what the fuck makes them special over anyone else. i can understand why people with food allergies would want an organic place so they don't have reactions and shit but i cant see how organic food could add more than 3-4 years to your life if not less. regular places have organic food you don't need to fucking go build a place where hippies hang out, because if hippies hang out there then shits bound to get fucked up. Third. why are they always wearing dread locks. their fucking gross for the soul reason that instead of washing yourself you have to wash yourself in oil. also their is no white hippie out their with dread locks that looks good. Why can't they just fucking be normal. why are they always trying to make statements and shit why the fuck can’t they just shut the fuck up and go drop some acid. they all get involved in political affairs which they should overall stay the fuck out of because since they dropped out of high school in junior year they do not really know anything about politics and are therefore just embarrassing themselves further. also has anyone ever actually seen a hot hippies that’s not cover with dirt, hair, or any other form of material which should not be there. overall hippies had their time in the 70-80s but its time we move on. fuck hippies and their shitty lifestyle, jobs, cars, ideas, and everything else that makes them a hippie, except maybe the drugs.
 
I agree that it was cool to be a hippie in the 60s when there was a true cause, but today, not so much. I eat organic food, listen to hippie music, but I shower... most of the time. I have shaggy hair, but def not dreds. It's cool that they want to live that way, but the age of hippies really died around the early 70s.
 
Being a hippie did used to mean something. It used to mean anti establishment and anti war. But still, you shouldn't hate on people that look different than you. What you just described was a man who chose to eat well, not comb his hair, and lets his kids run free. thats it. Don't hate on people because they are different. Hate on fat people. They aren't different.
 
How can you be against people that just want to love and be loves and everyone be at peace? Because they dont feel the need to be as clean as you?

just because they dont practice the same hygene rituals as you does not mean theyre dirty. Your body knows how to clean itself if you know how to work with it. You drive your body like a machine, ignoring its natural rythyms, showering every day, because you dont trust your body. Just becuase people arent like you, doesnt mean that entitles you to believe you are better than them.

id like to say youre wrong, but i acknowledge the hippie culture of today is lacking. its unfortunate, its becoming that they have no where to turn to funnel their creative energies, and the trend seems to suggest the drug culture is not helping them either.

but on the flip side, some of the coolest people ive ever met in my life are hippies, and they inspire me, and I will never speak against them.

"the trend seems to suggest the drug culture is not helping them either. their whole culture is based on drugs, again a large stereoptype, but hippes make up at leaste 30% of the drug communtity. so to say that the drug culture has been a bad influence on them is a vast error. they are the drug culture. in what way have they inspired you. have they shown you the way of yoga because thats real cool in all. or how about hemeopathic medicine, another extreamly efective hippie creation. what asset are they, in what way do they benefit us. its obvious that you have greatly inspired, with all of your evidense, but to the rest of us y should them mean anything

well for one they are pacafists and dont believe in fighting which is a quality that atleast 90% of the world should respect and get to know themselves.

me too, i think they have very good, respectable beliefs and shoudnt be hated for those, they actually care about important issues that everyone should see too

in boulder you fucking idiot. i consider my parents and myself hippies and they have jobs as artists, i am clean, and we get along with all the people around us. we grow some of our own food and yeah my mom smokes a little and i do too on occaision but im on financial aide to a good school and im probly going to middlebury for college. in conclusion, some day conformist faggots like yourself will be working for me. i dont want to sound like an elitist but the people who boss other people around are the smart, observant, intelligent ones who observe and form their own oppinions based on empirical fact and unbiased views.
 
hippies are cool, theyre all about peace, music, drugs, and doing their own thing, hell when i was going to pick up some hay today i saw a hippie today working at a nursery, and she was really cool

A lot of my friends are what you would call hippies (me too, probably). they all shower everyday and don't hold too radical of political opinions (or at least don't force them on you). Of course there are nasty, drug addict hippies, just like in every other stereotype you can name. Look at the individual.

hippies dont agree with you, and they dont want to lower their intelligence by debating with you, so they just live their life avoiding people like you. i think "hippie" is such an outdated term though. i know so many people today, myself included, that buy organic food, KNOW that peace is the only true answer to any conflict, and accept everybody for who they are. as for cleanliness? maybe its yourself that is dirty. you shower yourself in slaughtered animal fat, and cover yourself with the work of enslaved children that have no choice but to make clothes for your fat ass. theres a reason "hippies" do what they do, so dont call it fucking craziness

God's plan worked, even though there were a few hangups, like when a chemist in switzerland, a silly place that God could barely spell, came up with a silly chemical that helped the original humans realize they could be spiritual without organized religion, and the chemical became popular and people didnt feel like doing as the republicans said.
 
that should end this right here. that's simply the truth for everything. dont judge a hippie based on what you think they are, base them upon who they really are.

NO ONE HAS SAID ANY REASON THAT HIPPIES ARE STILL EFFECTIVE. each person has contiuned to state one after another that hippies are awesome and i'm a doushebag. SO HOW ARE HIPPIES AWESOME. the creation of the hippie was for war and political protest, so can anyone acutally name an event where they were sucessful in meeting one of their needs after 1985. no u can't. so stop saying that their are great cause u guys have laid that one on pretty thick, so give me an example. Before i was pissed off about somthing else and it related somewhat to hippies so i diceded to rant about them. I do not think they are lower forms of life, and i do not care about their diet. i wonder why a group created for peace, happinies, protests, have not acomplished anything for the last 15 years.
