two things, one, I think you live in probably the worst town in the world if you dislike extreme liberalism. second, props for running someone down who blocks traffic. fuck those assholes. last month I ran my motorcycle through lodo during letout, if you've ever been down here in denver at 2:05am, you know what I'm talking about. greatest feeling ever running assholes out of the road.
 
dude c'mon. i wasn't planning on joining this argument, but this is just a stupid staement. my question is why if my opinions and ideologies differ from yours do i suck at being human? how do you even generalize that? being a sucky human would be taking someone elses freedoms away, or treating them like shit for their beliefs. im not taking sides here i just don't really think that someone can be a shitty human being for having differing opinions from yourself.
 
They're too large a group to place that kind of generalization upon them. Some in fact may not be productive in anyway, but this by no means makes them a shitty human being.
 
dude... stop hatin on the hippies. just last night, i was walkin round collecting food for my local lift-up food donation place and some hippies stopped beside me and gave me some cans. they are nice people with a good cause. nothing wrong with goin and displaying what you believe in. no matter if its through protesting or a simple quote. these peoples have rights too. and i know you expressed yours by saying what you did, but next time, try to get past your ignorant ideals and beliefs and realize that that karma is gona bite you in the ass cause you cant simply respect a different culture.

seriously- this whole argument is dumb.people are hating because of different opinions while being completely ignorant themselves, and making stupid generalizations that don't mean anything.there are people from all sorts of stereotypes that don't have jobs, that smoke weed, and protest this and that...obviously there are just some pent-up issues, and taking them all out on the peace advocates is the new and improved way to deal with it all.that makes killer sense.

This is gonna get me in trouble but, some of them (I don't know what group we are specifically talking about here) can get pretty fucking disrespectful to those of us that aren't part of their cause. Like, getting in my face about me driving a Bronco when it was the only thing I could afford to buy.

I work under the feeling that if they get in my face, I will get in their face right back to see if they like it. Usually the other people crack first. Like, I made a US Marine blink during a band inspection before a parade by just matching wits. I felt good about myself.

i honestly don't think they believed protesting in Boulder was going to stop the war. I mean, really, how many protests have there been in the past, and OH SHIT- people are still dying over there. it's this thing called raising awareness, public demonstrations, a chance to voice their opinions which happened to be about peace. I'm not saying that stopping traffic is the way to go about it- because honestly, i think that's stupid too. there are other ways to go about protestingand just because humanity isn't without flaws doesn't mean we should just throw away ideas of peace. there are so many people that have strived to make a difference using peace, and guess what- they've gone far.oh, and i'm so glad i'm now a "shit-sucking liberal bitch".that's super comforting.

OK, my grandma is a total hippie. not only a hippie but a retired college professor, principal of an inner-city school, and she regularly volunteers at places that give necessities to poor people.

btw, i think its hilarious how everyone against "hippies" and liberalism back up there arguments with statements like "shit sucking liberal pussies", and "go eat some cous cous or something", while proponents just try and state what they think. i guess there really is no fighting with ignorance. same thing with religion too.
