Hip Worldrecord at Keystone?

I was just at Keystone this past week, which also happened to be their last week, closing yesterday. I rode up the lift with some boarder on park crew who told me that tomorrow, Tuesday, some skier is gonna try to break the world record for the biggest hip hit. Does anyone know about this? If so, who and where can i get some vids? The hip is HUGE!
 
i saw that hip too. giant. and the other features they've built look soooo sick. footy coming out of keystone this spring is going to be epic
 
they also are pushing the second jump from the XL jump line into the third to make one huge ass jump for this unknown skier. You sure its Jacob, you mean Jacob Wester?
 
jacob said earlier in the year that he intends to break the height off a hip record. if you remember jacobs segments ski porn this is hip is set to be ridic!

yea the sickest one was the 2 quaterpipes staggered up to make like a halfpipe type thing but perpendicular to the slope. you go and hit the second one then ski uphill and hit the first one and they got a rail/stall on top of that.
 
Ya, it's supposed to be Jacob Wester. It hasn't been a secret at all though, I'm pretty sure there are 2 or 3 threads on here. The hip isn't really that big so I wonder if he's going to be able to do it.
 
jacob does not plan to do it in keystone....his shedule:

16th - flight to Vancouver

18th - World Skiing Invitaional Big Air

19th - flight to Gunnison, Crested Butte, CO

20th-25th - Crested Butte park jump shoot (JOI style kicker)

26th - flight to wherever is close to Lake Tahoe

26th - 28th - Squaw Valley jump/hip/wallride park shoot

28th - 3rd - Surfing in OC

3rd - flight from LA to Stockholm

4th and on - Summer vacation

ok here we go, last stretch of winter begins now.

thats what i thought, but how come it was posted today?It didnt make sense that it was stll Turbo. You dont gotta be so harsh
 
sorry that was harsh. but turbo is doing behind the scenes webisodes they release all year. they did the same thing last year for realtime
 
yo this is off topic but did anyone ever get any footy of that like worlds biggest train thang that was somewhere in colorado? (im assuming it was at keystone.)
 
he may be going for it now at keystone..to my knowledge squaw backed out of all its park shoots this season...i could be wrong though
