So I hip checked pretty damn bad like last week Monday, ever since my hips have been super fuckin tight, I have been doin yoga 3 times a day which helps but every time I push out of my comfy range when skiing it acts up and hurts again. I have taken a couple hot baths and it still be hurting. But the kicker is I haven't taken a day off skiing since last Monday, I know its probably a good idea to take a rest day but like its now slush szn and I dont wanna miss out on nice ski temps.

Tell me to take a rest day before I go to Colorado

Skiing is a sprint. Treating your body like that will ensure a short ski career. Take a break until you feel better. Get enough sleep, eat good, consult a physical therapist or doctor.

that is solid advice, thanks homes, I am takin off. honestly my biggest incentive is not fucking my body up for MTB season

also this just in, I'm not skiing out there, just gonna be mtb and hike and climb so that'll be good times to rest the ski bones and heal up

Hell yeah man glad to hear! I boofed my knee the other day and am on that same vibe. Chill at home, take care of myself and rehab. Skiing will always be there but I gotta be healthy to do it.

take a rest day. i would recommend copping a foam roller if its still bothering you. i got one becuase i had some calf pain from learning ollies, and it worked like a champ. pair that with some tylenol and you'll be good.

Reminds me of a miracle cure I experienced years back;

I corked 7 a hip jump and came up a bit short and hit an ice patch with my hip. My hip and leg joint was just not fixing itself. One night, I streched and felt a “clunk” in the joint and there was no pain. I guess the inflamation kept the tendon from going back into place. Once the swelling left, it was bound to come back.

I love miracles
