I need to find a song to show rhyme scheme and some other stuff. Anyone know some songs to check out with a fairly simple rhyme scheme? it cant have too many swears, i can work around some though.
 
imma say figaro by madvillain. say its played (it is), but the rhyme structures are like wahhhhhhhh and he only drops nigga like once.

or try something by sage francis or something.

A tribe called Quest, de la soul, deltron 3030, MF DOOM. Almost any early song by the first two will fit the bill nicely. Very clean lyrics as well.

I believe he says bitch once or twice, but the song has amazing lyrics/ rhyming.
 
anything with mf doom isnt gonna work. rhyme schemes are too fucked up.

a mastermind by deltron is good and gravel pit and i cant go to sleep by wu tang are good. oh and persuit of happynes by kid kudi featuring ratatat and MGMT is also good and box of rocks or black mags by the cool kids are also good
 
rhyme schemes too fucked up? man, you dont know what youre saying. his shit is straight poetic, with a lot of internal rhyme schemes.

dude i fucking love mf doom. i know every song on madvillainy by heart so chill. you cant deny that his rhyme schemes are irregular.

yeah theyre irregular, but that doesnt mean they dont employ a lot of poetic devices. if you got all those songs on lock you should know dis bwoy..
 
If a student of mine ever brought in a Coldplay song, not only would I refuse to let him play it but I would fail him for the assignment and give him detention, making him write on the board 100 times, "I will not listen to shitty mainstream music make by" all while making sure he was embarrassed in front of the entire class. Then, I'd suggest he bring in a Creed song next time instead.
