Hip checking on cliffs = sissy

So I watched the Prophecy the other day. It was an ok flick (though Jeremy Jones and Travis Rice easily had the best sections, damn those wascalwy boarders) but the thing that had me chocked was the amount of hip checking cliff landings from skiers. Stomp your shit you pussies. It's one thing to hip check an 70 footer, but when you're pussing out on 30 footers there is something wrong. If you hip check a 30 footer, it shouldn't go in a major movie like the Prophecy. And there were many hip checked 30 footers. Some people stomped everything (ie Jones), others were a big disappoinment.

 
i like hip checks, i think they look cool. That movie sucked but the best segs were cris collins and sage cattibriga.

 
i saw it twice but i forgot who hip checked, could you remind me, i agree hip checkings are lame off smaller stuff

hucksplat dosent know shit about skiing..are you from the east coast..have you ever seen a 30 foot cliff let alone jumped one in the conditions and steepness that the skiers are doing in the movie? your stupid to think that somone can drop a thirty footer and land skis down when theres a exposed face below him or when cartwheels are inevinitable due to the steepness of the line..you dont know shit.

yah i couldn't agree more.. tgr always seems to put guys who can't stick cliffs in their movies.. it doesn't look good at all.

cj, people stomp 50 footers on triple++ exposed lines all the time, watch footage of the frenchie Guerlain Chicheret and those types

they had some fucking huge clifs in subject to change, who cares if some one didnt land a 80 footer or more it still deserves to be in a movie
