Hillary Clinton supporters STFU!!

I supported Hill-dog in the primaries, but now that Obama is the official nominee, i completely support him. Many Hillary supporters have shifted to support McCain because they're bitter and sore losers. Obama and Clinton are so similar on the issues, that if you support one, it makes sense that you'd support the other. I find it extremely selfish Hill-dog supporters to whine, or change parties due to their own bitterness. Who knows? Maybe if Obama is elected, we'll stop hearing about Bush stealing the election from Gore, and instead we'll here people whining about Obama stealing the primaries.

On behalf of the democratic party and the world, I would like to say SHUT THE FUCK UP!!!

shut up this kid idn't even making any valid points, just generalizations and then telling people to shut the fuck up

abandoning their party? since when did a political party become such a faction group? people can do whatever they want to do, and you should understand that. i think youre ridiculous for just following the democratic party with whatever they do.

i pity your feeble mind.

because the republican party would use every single argument that hillary used against barack and she wouldnt be able to say shit to back him up.

there are a whole lot of reasons why not to pick hillary as vp. an obvious one is that joe biden has always had the same stance on the war as obama, whereas hillary initially voted for it. another big issue is experience. hillary has nothing in experience compared to biden, who became a senator when he was 30 back in 1973. evne counting hillary's years as a first lady, which bears absolutely no real governmental responsiblity, she has only 16 years in washington. biden is considered one of the most articulate senators to ever walk into congress. unlike hillary, joe biden's conscience isn't overwhelmed by political strategy and fundraising concerns, that is to say, joe biden says whatever the fuck he wants to say, like obama, while hillary may go out to dinner with a lobbyist and her campaign manager to go over how she should delieve a speech the next day without pissing off the company that feeds her campaign.

hillary would be much better as a secretary of state, she's a hard bargainer with a soft tone.

who gives a shit about vp, anyways, all they do is preside over the senate, and have no functional sway, except when senatorial roll calls are tied, and a last vote is needed to break the tie, which comes from the vp, but the ratio of that extra vote needed to it not being needed is so low that the position is nearly vestigial.

biden's teeth are white, maybe too white...

he made a very valid point, that there's no reason to jump to the opposite extreme (mccain), when a simlar option (obama) is available.

let's relate this to skiing, the last pair of bacon's were sold, and really wanted them, but you've got only the options of ninthward sfs or 4frnt MSPs, mccain, in this case, is the MSP, and obama, in this case, is the sfs - this is, of course, assuming that the bacons, in this case, are hillary

i completely agree with you. who gives two shits if someone wants to vote outside of their registered party. i'm only democrat because i have to register as part of a party in order to vote in the primaries, connecticut has that rule. i'm actually dropping out of the democratic party, seeing that i dont need to be part of the party to support obama anymore.

the function of a party is fundraising, the effect of it is a cult

Brilliantly done.

That said.. I think this whole "experience" thing is a little too overrated... 16 years in washington is longer than many kids on this site are old. Not to mention, anything over about 20 years of "experience" is null, because 20 years ago, the state of the world was COMPLETELY DIFFERENT than it was today.

IMO: if you have 10 or more years of experience in national, or state public office, you have enough experience to run this country..

experience is overrated, but the media won't shut up about it, which means dumb ppl wont shut up about it, and when most ppl are dumb, and votes are what determine, experience counts

world is different, 20 yrs ago china was considered weak, today, they have 1.2 trillion is capital savings of just american dollars, first and 250 million above japan, who has the second most in the world, 20 yrs ago, china was just embarking on a plan to import a ton of capital by providing lots of labor (why everything says made in china), china is funding deep water sea ports in nuclear armed pakistan, a highway to those seaports thourhg the yucatan province of china, and funding and directly supporting the military regim of myanmar, whose regime is so defect that aid to typhoon victims a few months ago hasnt even arrived. china is a humanitarian nightmare, and 20 yrs ago, the world would be outraged, but, today, the world's attention is devoted to the united states nationalistic marches through the middle east, and china just goes about supporting dictatorships and pumping oil out of sudan (where darfur is) without anyone really giving a shit, fuck, they're even on the UN security council. brought about by FDR, one of the best in humanitarian policy, the world is a lot different, and were a lot worse, which is why obama is the man, and mccain gets manned

im not even going to bother with replying, because the last time the Nazi's (oops, i mean mods:) deleted the whole thread after i cleaned house...

so i am not going to put any thought into a thread that will just get deleted....

that's happened to me a few times, i even started a thread about how the chinese military marched like nazis in the olympics, and the nazis took the thread down

it's okay, the nazis don't surprise me, i could edit grammar in every news article they write, let alone reformat syntax, so it's not i expect them to cater to intellectual issues, i mean, u see the pictures of their office on the front page, beer bottles all over, great, this site is edited by drunks

it's just a matter of time before ABC and ESPN buy out NS, at which time maybe our sport will actually get respectable coverage, not just cool, neat and fun coverage.

NS is full of kids, there's no reason not to get them involved in intellectual or political debate, but, hey, i'm lucky if this post makes it b4 the thread's deleted... in a nazi's drunken frustration

all the dems saying they are gonna vote mccain are the fuckin feminist cunts that are too caught up in their raging pools of estrogen. they've got some sand in their vagg because they wanted a chick to be preseident and it didnt happen aw what a shame... now the instinctive drama approach kicks in.

if your liberal and u vote for mccain over something like this then i dare to say u are a disgrace to the party...

yes i agree, if they were true democrats and truly realized that mccain is george bush in a Halloween costume (not a very good one) then they would wisely choose obama......... so the only thing i can get out of these sore loser clinton supporters is that the only reason they wont support obama is because he is BLACK...... just my opinion i cant see any other logical reason to give your vote to MCclaim

i guess you believe in santa clause in the easter bunny too...

please tell me why you think mccain is 4 more years of bush?? other then the fact that they're republican. do you know where they stand on all their issues?? i'm not going to pretend that i do, but i know that they are not the same.

you are ignorant.

why do you want to vote for Obama, you have every right to but do you have a real reason??

OBAMA REFUSES TO DEBATE MCCAIN!! tell me why and use logic in doing so.

ahhh yes they will vote for the guy that doesnt give two shits about the fact that they still make less then men.... get your facts straight

you're right, they're not identical, but it's sad enough the mccain and bush are brought up in the same sentence, which shows that they are similar, and i want absolutely no similarities between the last 8 years and the next 4

obama does not refuse to debate mccain. mccain has presented obama with the options of debating with conservative hosts, and Obama has accepted! there will be three debates, probably more

you, my friend, are misinformed, which, in turn, has made you ignorant

no, i'm sorry. obama can't think on his feet, mccain has tried to schedule debates with him that were to have taken place by now.

^^ sorry for the double post, but i've done nothing but sit at home for the past month with a torn achilles tendon and have 2 politics classes so i do a lot of watching all the news programs and havn't heard shit about Obama wanting to DEBATE mccain, he wants to have a "lincoln douglas debate" where they both give prepare speeches and Obama's lackys tell him what to say.

"The most disheartening possibility is that Republicans saw campaign

finance reform, comprehensive immigration reform, Social Security for

illegal immigrants, global warming legislation and sharp criticism for

the running of Guantanamo Bay on McCain’s record and shrugged it off.

Maybe Republicans suffer from a political battered wife syndrome, where

the party keeps coming back to McCain even when he beats up some of its

principles, like national sovereignty and freedom of speech. It’s time

for Republicans to stop blaming their conservative ideology and voting

for someone who snubs those core beliefs."

the point is at this point all the people who were so furious when she conceded arent anymore. theyve realized how horrible mccain is and are def on obamas side. im not sure why this thread was even made its not really relevant anymore. esp after the speaches the clintons made the past two nights

they may no longer be furious but many people are still unsure. obama's speech tonight will either make or break him among those folks...

pretty sure that obama lackys do for obama what mccain's would do for mccain

on top of all this, mccain hasnt even announced his VP pick, which puts debates on the back burner

yes you should say more becuase you're still not making any sense. Mccain criticized how bush handled the war after we got Saddam out of power.. he is one of the first republicans that made bush think twice about how he wanted to handle it, i'm still not saying that the war is a good thing but if we just simply withdrew immediatly like so many people think we can do then the middle east countries we're in will crumble.. then heaven forbid everybody will hate us even more for "abandoing" them.

i mean you're liberal, you're a humanitarian right??

he's going to announce his vp pick right before the RNC just like Obama did for the DNC.. you know as well as i do that its timing.

and i know mccain has advisors too but i still think he can think for himself a lot more then Obama..

he's going to announce his vp pick right before the RNC just like Obama did for the DNC.. you know as well as i do that its timing, which means that the debates are on the back burner

mccain can think for himself? prove this

the iraq gov't wants us out, which is why, last week, news was released about an official agreement that troops leave by 2011, all that's pending is bush' signature, which the iraq gov't has expressedly asked for

iraq wants us to leave

thats actually been news for quite some time, but 2011 isn't 2008.. it takes time to withdraw.

im not saying that we shouldn't withdraw, i think we should, but there are a lot of people that think we should just be able to get on a charter plane fly on home.

and its still pretty shitty over there, women are being murdured by their families every day and the iraq government isn't doing shit about it.

Unfortunately for us and them, their country is filled with insane extremist who kill the innocent on a daily basis. It's hard to agree to leave with that going on still, especially since there doesn't seem to be any end near. It doesn't seem likely to me that a country that messed up will have much of a chance to fully recover. I think it sucks to stay, especially since I'm affected first hand, but it sucks just as much to leave. Quite honestly I don't know what we should do NOW. Hopefully our work to train their military these last years and provide security will pay off in the future. Until then, I'm just going to do what I can to make things better somehow. Everyone has power to do something (even if it seems insignificant), but most just choose to do nothing and complain anyway.

I don't think any of you talking about Iraq have any idea what you're talking about.

And for the record, Obama won't do anything different with Iraq than McCain would. Their plans are all but identical aside from the semantics.

Yes, but why the hell would you support Mccain after supporting Hilary just because your bitter about Hilary losing to Barack. Honestly, if people do that then they are a bit looney. Obama and Hilary have similar ideas, Mccain does not.
