anyone working at their local hills for the upcoming season, if so what kinda perks do you get.

I'm working at our local mound and getting $7.53 and hour, (under the table) and 50% off lift tickets and 50% off food.

I think Im gonna work at my local 'hill' (COP, Canada Olympic Park, calgary, Alberta) just cause ill be able to be around skiing. I'm only 15 though, so i'll probably only be able to volounteer. Too bad, im still around skiing though...

just wait untill you are 18 and become a ski instructor. or you can take the red cross first aid and CPR class and become volunteer ski patrol.

I worked at Copper Mountain last season, it was awesome. Free skiing to nearly every resort in Colorado (excluding Vail Resorts), got to live right next to the lifts, skied everyday, and got discounts on everything...I'd recommend it.

^^ What the hell?

You get 2 season passes right? So wtf would you need one free lift ticket a week? Sounds to me like you're getting ripped or you haven't made yourself clear. LATE.

I'll tell you where...someplace warm...a place where the beer flows like wine...where beautiful women instinctively flock like the salmon of capastrano...I'm talkin' about a little place called Asssspennnnn...

I think its a free ticket a week for a guest...i get something like that where i work too.

At Ski Roundtop in PA all employees get a season pass and pay is right around 7 - snowmaking crew gets a whole lot more cause they are night shift only. 50% off food but you can pretty much get it for free cause everyone is friends with the people on cash register. The cool thing is that our mountain has THREE sister mountains that all employees can go to, they just have to call ahead.

Join me in Whistler from June 20-26... it's gonna kick! :)

i work in a rental shop..i get a free seasons, discounts on food and shop, and a guest sign in.....but im only gettin 5.15 an hour

ski instructor at our local bump. minimum wage (i think around $5 an hour), free season pass, %20 off ski equipment at a shitty ski store, and comp. tix at mountains where i show proof of being a ski instructor. other than that i get to chill with some pretty cool people.

i worked at a ski hill as a ski instructor last year it is a cool job and you get a lot of good benifits but you don't get paid very much and how much you make all depends on how busey the hill is

Last season I made out quite well I think I ended up getting like 8.32 an hour, free pass, free food, free tunes etc, and I ended up with 5 free snowboards, a hell of a lot in tips from tourists, and a pair of new skis from the season before.
