Hiking Tucks on May day

So me and my buddy want to go ski tucks. we're thinking tomorrow, super short notice but it's either now or never. I know there's an "access road" beside some rail road track, so we were just going to take his 4x4 truck up it, then get to the valley and hike up.

someone tell me all they know about it, NOW. help haha i want to go bad.

Right now conditions are super sketch up there, 2ft of snow and high winds have caused heavy loading, and with the temps going up tomorrow its prime to start sliding. This little excerpt from todays Avalanche report is a warning you should take note of The Considerable rating for some locations is due to the possibility of natural avalanches. This rating also means that human triggered avalanches are probable, so traveling in avalanche terrain should be done only with a hefty amount of avalanche experience, excellent safe travel practices, a conservative approach, and the appropriate avalanche rescue gear.

The summer road is just that, a summer road. If you do manage to somehow get past the gates and stuff you won't be making it too high I wouldn't think

Tucks was at extreme danger yesterday and there was a newspaper article today about how dangerous that area is right now. From two people who know relatively well what they're doing (MacMahoooon and I), save it for another weekend.
