Hiking the Whites: Trail Reports, Conditions

What's up guys...Anyone been hiking yet this year? Looking to head up to either Lafayette or Madison at some point over the next couple of weeks and trying to see if the trails still have any snow on them up top?

Any input would be greatly appreciated, thanks!

Havent got up to the whites yet this year, but im pretty sure the trails should be snow free for the most part. From looking at webcams and pictures and such it appears tucks is still loaded and i wouldnt be surprised if there is snow in the cols and some in the woods, but for the most part everything should be good to go. Trying to get up there a bunch this year, check some more 4000s off my list, maybe franconia ridge and mooseilauke.

In sure a bunch of the steep trails still have some damage from erosion and melting snow but that makes it more fun. I'm heading up to the great gulf today to ski airplane. I'll let uk how the trails look

Opps sorry for the triple post.....

I was up on the presidential ridge trails all say yesterday. They are in fine shape. Just usual spree climbing. I can't say much for below tree line trails, but I'm sure the only possible issue is erosion from melting snow

did you ski airplane?

shit just saw your post in the tucks thread. thats sick wish i could get up there, probably wont be able to until 4th of july week. tucks in july is a possibility

Ya Hillmans still has a really long run left. It's only melted 100 yards down from the top. I didn't get a good look at Tucks but I'm sure they'll have snow in the lower half for a while
