Hiking @ Mount Washington

I was considering going on a hiking trip to Mount Washington in a couple of weeks... Probably weekend after next. Anyone know any of the best trails/routes to take? Anyone have any good experiances at Mount Washington?

key word man... hiking... I never said skiing. I'm not going up there with skiers and you really shouldnt ski tucks alone.

Don't waste your time with mt washingon,

go to Mt. Arrowsmith, they have much better hiking and a lot more snow.

well there probably will be other skiers there, but go hiking if you want to

I used to live semi near there so I'd go there all the time

my parents go there for some ski retreat thing every year with other parental units like themselves...

ya, get a pack that holds your skis and gear and ski down. I've done some pretty good hikes in Washington, but I can't remember where I was at...sorry

definitely take you ski gear. like someone said, you wouldn't be skiing it alone. there'll be tons of cool cats up there. it is an incredible place to ski, but no better than average to hike. trust me... you'll be so damn jealous of everyone if you're up there sans skis.

hiked up to tux twice in the past few weeks and showered under the snowshelf in a waterfall, fucking awesome.
 
I hiked Mt Adams and Mt Madison in june, and Jefferson last summer.

There was a good amount of snow in the north facing ravines along the whole range.

The area as a whole up there is gorgeous, the mountain are huge (East Coast standards) and the whole environment is amazing

this is really weird cause im from alaska and im going to new hamshire tomorrow. and we're planning on hiking mt. washington. and this thread just happens to pop up. ill be there sometime in the next 2 weeks
