Hiking breck

i may be wrong on this, but its technically federal land, so they cant stop you from hiking. your lift ticket is only for access to their facilities (lifts)

I believe this is correct. I've heard stories of people skinning up Vail and Keystone frequently and have never been busted.

Eldora threatened me and a friend with theft of services charges when we hiked the pipe back in the day.

in regards to when or how? snowmobiles after they close - of course not. however you can ski breck on a full moon whenever the hell you want. in fact, there is hotline to call and designated skin route for uphill traffic. I probably ski and hike up breck 20 plus times after they close, including driving my car up halfway up peak 9 - parking it and then hiking from there. after they close its fair game. I even built jumps on the old medium park because there is always a landing to use. And to this day I skied the deepest snow of my life on ballroom may 5th last year. it was literally chest deep the whole way i was scared it was gonna slide but since it is skied all the time I was all good. The earliest ive skinned up was mid oct this season on a full moon and it was freakin amazing.

If you got caught they would definitely not be cool. So many insurance liabilities for you getting hurt on rails they put there.

First of all - why? You cant get enough during the day? Second, Keystone has night skiing with a park and your day ticket is valid for that night. Third, if there is anything you could not do on the mountain at night, that would def but something. Dont hike the park at night, esp without lights, your gonna have a bad time.
