kind of pertains to skiing because Little Cottonwood. 22 year-old business student from Salt Lake noticed a boulder shifting and shoved a middle-aged woman out of the way before he was crushsed.

damn that really sucks I just moved to Utah like 3 weeks ago and there already has been two people that had boulders roll on them. That one guy form colorado sawed his arm off and this guy plan died so fucked up

i dont get the push her out of the way thing. assuming she's to his left, and the boulder is about to hit her. i'm guessing he moved to where she was, and pushed her out of the way. why not use a diving tackle thereby getting them both out of the way? guy's definitely a hero though

 
hehe.. I remember that incident where the hiker/caver had a boulder fall on his arm and he cut his own arm off. That tooks ballz

he was laughing at the hiker who cut off his arm. in my opinion it served him right for going off alone without telling anyone or having any survival gear with him. its still hardcore to cut off your own arm though, i think i would just die
