Hike back terrain at Abay

Is the hike back terrain at Abay's montezuma bowl worth it. I was wondering about that and thinking it probly would be sick cuz people hate hiking back

Correct me if I'm wrong but I'm pretty sure that Montezuma Bowl is south facing which means that it wouldn't have snow even if it had been snowing(which it really hasn't). That bowl opened well into the season last year, no chance that there is even anything skiable.

i didnt think montezuma was to too terrible, yea it wasnt amazing, but i thought it had some potential...i guess only if it snowed a shit ton. Ive only heard that the hike back terrain has a lot of snow with like no tracks in the trees, havent done it myself but ive heard, the lightening tree i think it is usually hold some good snow quite a bit after a good storm.

i think it's pretty nice back there.... actually it sucks, don't go back there. and tell everyone you know it sucks too

there's some cool stuff back there. i'd say it's worth the hike. if you go really far skier's right down past that elephant's trunk area, it's kinda fun. that's about the best stuff i've found there.

i'm not talking about the sick runs up tops, i'm talking about the ones underneath the bottom of montezuma lift just to clarify

thank you. I know to never, ever, ever ever, ever ever, ever ever, ever go down there. I guess i'll just settle for the molly hogan lift.
