Hike and huck cancelled?

Not true...just hasn't been updated. Got a message from the events coordinator today stating it was canceled and the last day at loon is next weekend (the 12th). OUCH

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

wow, that is bullshit, no hick and huck, ski season ends in 2 weeks, I am hiking the park and bringing my own rails until the snow is gone, this is bullshit!

rumors are true...loons been cutting back on hours for people working, canceled employee day the day after close, are calling it quits a week early, and yes...even bailing on hike and huck.

times is tough for everyone, just a shame we have to see it effect loon so directly.

but wait! look at the bottom of this page!http://www.loonmtn.com/info/rideloon/pkevents.aspx

This is posted on their Loon Mountain Park events website. It says its planned for May 2!I will call their resort and check. and then let u know. but it says it on their park page. not their regular website though.
5/2/09HIKE & HUCK[/b]
Registration is $30 and will run from 8:30-9:30 that day, with the contest starting at 10am. We will also have a hour long jam on the shaping shack hubba features for all you jib maniacs. Please keep in mind that this event is not for amateurs, if you've been hanging out in the smaller parks all season or are just now getting to the larger jumps then keep practicing and we'll see you at next seasons.

theyre hurting on snow and looks like theyll be closed all week and reopening for closing weekend this weekend...bummer

im pissed. I was hopin hike and huck my makin some cash to pay for everything i bought this year.

That booter was prime last year. got my first dub of it. Only went up with 3 friends last year, was gonna go up with like 30 this year.

oh well. Couldnt they just move it up earlier? Is there really not enough snow to push up a dirt/snow mix booter for peoople? The vibes last year were great. Everyone had a good time.bbq, booter, stairset.

girls throwin down.

Does anyone know of any similar events in the east? I know there always a few rails jams, but i want one last sesh on a big jump

you wouldnt be "makin some cash" at hike n huck. if you knew the snowboard talent that rides at loon these days, youd realize this.
