High Society Freeride Company

they are ok skis with really good people running the company. kinda shady practices here and there put nothing that would make me not buy there skis.

i hear there newer shit is nice, but i had one of thier frist run of skis and they were shit and wouldnt warrenty them when they broke after 2 months...

they make a pretty sick one ski arsenal.  nice and light.  stiff enough to go fast without chatterign but soft enough to be good when it's soft and deep.  basically good at everything in my backyard- park pow and bowls.  not so good on ice if you're an eastcoaster

I had 1st and 3rd gen skis, both done due to delaming in like 20 days put together. Skied well but who wants a ski that falls apart in 10 days?

I seem to have bad luck with skis, at least new core company skis... they all fall apart within days... back to tried and true companies. Thinking line prophets.

I have had FR's since I first tried them in 2004. The newer ones are really nice. Have about 60 days on them so far with no problems. I have some Seths that I ride for big pow days but FRs are good for just about everything else.

High Society make amazing skis and area kool ass company.. buy them youll love em.. www.highsocietyfreeride.com

They took care of me with their warranty but still doesn't change the fact that I had two pair of sticks from them delam in under 20 days combined use.

we've had HSFC in the shop for two years now and have not had one issue with any pair. they are nice, solid, durable, fun skis. the FR series is killer, I skied the FR 187 all last year for big mountain and they were awesome. not a ton produced, so get 'em while you can!

I've heard that some few people have got their skis f''ed up, but I think maybe HS is for the lighter riders?

Peace, A.

The 187 FR is one of the best big skis out there, so solid, with dimensions

136

104

126

with a turn radius of 23.7m

I like to mount them a little more towards center to get a quick snap on the turning

they are great to carve on groomers but really big to float in pow and always stable at high speeds!

I put big guys on these skis cause they are strong enough for big guys but versitile for smaller guys who like a big ski, and they have always held up. Great ski company, super chill guys and quality product

I've never seen a pair in real life, but chances are I'd like them better than my beat up, edge cracked and core shotted public enemies. Plus they are a small company which is cool

I'm just picking this thread up again, because I'm really interested in hearing about what people think about the brand High Society! Personally I think they're the dopest

If you like soft and buttery skis, the Classics is your skis!

If like them stiff, the FR!

I have tried them both, and they both are really cool to ski with!
