wen u went from 8th into high schoool did u lose any of ur best friends from not having any classes with them or anyhting? just kinda worried about losing my closest friends cuz of that
 
if your friends are really that close you will never loose them.

you keep them and meet 100x more.
 
Well... I lost some friends but when you get to highschool you really discover who your real close friends are. sounds cliche, but true. If you're actually really good friends with someone, you wont lose them. But with friends that are just kinda eh they'll most likely be gone. But thats just my experience.
 
dont worry about that dude. just keep the effort to keep the friendship goin and if you guys drift a little youll meet tons of new people
 
still best friends with my best friend, even though we had 1 class together. made lots of new friends that i didn't know, got a lot better friends with people i already knew, kinda forgot about some others. but for the most part i lost no friends.

hell, i hung out with totally different people all summer then what i did in the school year
 
yea if their ur good friends you wont loose them. make better friends with the older kids so they can drive you places and take you to parties haha
 
seriously, it works.

i was a freshman last year, and i gained more friends than lost and that whole be friends with older kids works.
 
when i went from 6th grade to middle school was when i lost pretty much all my friends and i had to start from scratch. even had a period where i wasnt really good friends with anybody
 
i lost a lot of mine but made a lot of new ones, pretty much the same kids are my friends though except some unusual circumstances.
 
Once you see the girls at high school you'll forget all about your friends!

No, but for real, if your school is anything like mine(were around 1800 students i think) youll still see everyone you know around the halls. YOull also meet new peeps that are way chill and youll become friends with them. The most important thing is to advoid cliques at all cost. They really limit your fun i believe...
 
im goin into 9th, too

my friends are the same people, but theyve changed a lot, but so far, none of them have become total d-bags, so im hopeful, and they dont really act like they ever would
 
my middle school went up to grade 9, so mostly everyone stayed at that school.

but the highschool also had grade 9, I left early and lost all my old friends. diding care much since now I have much better friends, and a large number of people at that school sucked ass and did way to many drugs.

id say it depends on how big the school is, if its small anough, even not being in any of the same classes shouldint split you up.

I was only in one class with my best friend, and we are still best friends.
 
completely agree wtih you. in like october of 9th grade, my two best friends decided they didnt like me anymore, and completely ditched me. I was like are you kidding me? but it ended up being great because i made a ton of new friends in the process, that im still friends with now. I think your friends group gets established that year, at least it did for me
 
Yo I just went into highschool last year and now I have to switch schools again. Its sucks but always keep contact with your friends and see them when you can. If they are true they will be there for you
