I too was there for a few days this week. Here's my thoughts
First of all, everyone we met was friendly as hell. Seems like everyone is a potential homie, also because so many kids there share interests like skiing, hiking, etc. We met some randoms in Centennial Woods, turned out to be rad kids who showed us around a bunch. Everyone we talked to seemed happy, nobody had anything really negative to say.
We stayed with my friend at Sichel, trinity seems $. Rooms were on point. Everyone we talked to smokes bud, which I guess isn't a bad thing haha. Also every room I was in had either skis or a snowboard; seems like everyone does one or the other which is so sick.
Burlington is a beautiful town. There's shit to do up the wazoo, mostly outside, which is appealing to me. Last night, Saturday, we walked around downtown. Cyphed by the lake, hit up Ali Baba's, and found a party, probably saw some of you guys haha. The city is small but lively. I feel like I'd really enjoy living there.
Another compelling factor was the food. I got a boner when I walked into City Market. Goddamn. Everything is local, and beyond that it's all delicious. The strawberry hemp granola is fireeeeeeeee, feel me? The kid we stayed with bullshitted his way off of the mealplan as a sophmore, and he makes all of his own food, mostly with ingredients from the market.
The first night we were there, we met some kids on the floor we were staying on who showed us an igloo at trinity. After hotboxing it, we seshed a rail behind trinity on a snowskate. All in all, I really enjoyed my stay. The school seems rad, and so do the people.
I will be applying.
