High School Office Style Mockumentary

Hi guys so to end his senior year my friend made a sort of TV showish mockumentary on highschool life at our school playing with stereotypes and all that. A lot of the kids at our school thought it was funny, but I was just wondering how others would like it.

PS I'm Clemens and no that's not me on a typical day.

lol this is hilarious, being in high school i can say that there are kids at my school who pretty much fit all these stereotypes. Its like that old Disney show recess but for highschool.

If the filmer had a tripod and the plot made a bit more sense this would be gold. Still watching it though I like the kid who chills in the library when he's not supposed to

i lolllled. like you said it kinda copies the office idea, but I think it works even better to be honest

We had a bit of trouble tying everything in to one story, but if you watch all the episodes it sort of all comes together in the end.

Here's the rest for easy access.

Episode 2:

Episode 3:

Last Day of School:

This has gotta be the best piece of work i've seen from a ns'er. truth. I laughed like it was a real show. Don't know how you got the whole school to participate like they did, but that's some funny shit. One thing is, it's a bit long with all the pieces. But you guys should be proud of what you put together.

I was thinking the same thing when I was watching it, back when I was in highschool me and a buddy tried something similar to this and it flopped cause everyone else was like "thats gay" "such a dumb idea"....so we dropped it, i'm impressed that all these people participated, good work.

Seriously though, what was the production like? How did you get everyone to participate in such a big project? Those kids were funny as shit

10/10 my friend.

It seriously had the same exact vibe as The Office. The awkwardness, the realism. I mean, It perfectly portrays high school! Props to you, my dude.

Also, just wondering, are there any other NSer's in these?

Here's what I've taken from it

"I dont think he's my grandfather" "Me neither but we can always try"

and the guy banned from the library looks like ian compton

and I really enjoyed the part with the fellow talking about his facebook likes.

Mainly all the main characters are in our group of friends so it was easy to work together on most of the stuff. Outside of the main characters we would just grab people in study hall or lunch who were free to do some extra stuff on the side. Sometimes the kids wouldnt know what was going on so it made the scenes more natural with the extras reactions. Teacher wise we are just fortunate enough to have teachers chill enough to participate.

There's actually a funny story along the lines of the project. When we were filming the fight scene and all the kids are yelling fight in the hallways we were kind of close to the main office and our principle came running out thinking there was actually a fight, but we just talked to her and it was chill and she even offered to take part in the scene if we needed. Our schools pretty chill and this was the general attitude and that's why it was pretty easy to do.

And to the kid who asked if there were other NS'rs the kid who called Jamie the meathead kid a douchebag in episode 2 i believe is on NS. Shout out to Akes and Sure Crew.

first episode favorite lines: "Ok, a triangle, good. Alright, a rectangle, still with ya. John, that's an Adidas logo, just, just stop." hahahaha

threads for when i have time to watch, i love the office so i can't see myself hating this easily

dude that was really well put together. I just watched all the episodes plus the last day bit in one straight sitting and laughed my ass of a bunch of times. The characters are all really funny and different, a great commentary on high school life. The production quality was excellent, it wasn't a cheezy HS videoproduction project at all it was really well done. Favorite characters probably laurent or whatever (the artsy kid) and the prophet. good work man, you should be proud of yo self.

Worth the watch, almost impossible to hate. I mean, live and let live and you guys are really demonstrating that well. Couldn't see a better project come out of a western mass high school, I live pretty close to great barrington and the whole county is incredibly awesome. Glad you were able to take advantage of that and make use of a creative area with a low budget, and have it come out the way it did. Pass along props to those actors too
