High School Lacrosse Brawl

Maybe it's because I'm actually an adult. But if I was the coach, the season would have been over. No excuse for that shit. Any kid who threw a punch would have been off the team.

Last season I got in a fight but it was in the defense of a teammate. The other teams goalie decided to tackle our attack-man and sit on his chest and punch him in the face. i dropped my stick and tackled the goalie. stood up and was about to go after another kid but got pulled out buy a ref. Stupid part was no one took of their gear so im not even sure if that even counts as a fight.

Lol are you kidding me. I guess you've never played hockey or lacrosse. Its part of the sport has been since day one don't like it to bad. If you take fighting out then cheap shots come in any contact sport gets people worked up and if you can't fight someone for playing dirty and taking cheap shots all the time then little skinny shitheads will start shit all day and hide behind the refs. Fighting keeps people honest.

Now if 2 people are fighting and then there's a 3rd man in somebody better jump in or your player is unfairly going to get hurt. If the other team lets there bench out and you don't then your a shit coach your just going to let your team get pounded. You must be European or a soccer fan or something.

This site seriously needs to get off the hatorade its rediculous.

Well that was cute.

Swinging on kids facedown on the floor, 3 v 1 groupings, and not landing too many punches. Totally intense bro.

Clearly you're young, so nothing I say will change you mind. But on a high school level, fights are in no way, shape, or form "part of the game". And it's completely ridiculous to think that fighting should ever be allowed or tolerated.

Well I'm 21 so not really that "young". Fights have been in lacrosse and hockey since they started if you don't like it don't sign your kid up. That's what soccer and curling is for. In a highschool level fights are usually punished by suspensions 1-3 games. Actually if its an official highschool league and not travel its usually being kicked out of the league. But lets say you were the coach of the blue team. The 2 players on the white team jumped a player on your team. So are you saying that you would have kicked the player who ran to the kids defense off your team?

In the higher levels especially Junior b and a fighting is a way of governing the game. A couple refs can't see everything so there are always many cheapshots and whatnot. If you can't fight then nothing is stopping those little skinny shit disturbers from attempting to injure your star players all game long. In my opinion as soon as its a third man in the third man should be suspended the longest because he caused it. After that everyone else is just evening things out.

I'll ask you have you ever played hockey or lacrosee, cause if not you have absolutely no right to be talking about it "adult" or not.

Oh man, trying to watch all that happen at once was really difficult... awesome brawl tho, woulda loved to be in there. Athletic fights are the best cause usually theyre really clean and theres no "beef" afterwards.

The kids fighting weren't going hard and weren't doing much damage, but you have to understand that they're just blowing off steam. They're not trying to injure each other and the fight doesn't dictate the result of the game. And they're prolly tired because of all the fuckin running.

This is a shame to people who play lacrosse. It is also box which can lick my nutsack on tuesday nights. I also liked the part when one kid attacked the ref

when i was in 9th grade i was part of a bench clearing at a soccer game, shit lasted for 2 minuts i got 2 punches in and got cleated. was fun but we all got suspended for 2 days because of it. but i think when baseball fights get the benches to clear it the best.

its from the BC bud! haha, otherwise about this video, talking to a kid from that game, apperantly some guy from 1 team ran out and grabbed the most expensize sticks. so a few guys lost their gear too.

Slightly unrelated but still funny story. Was at the beach a couple weeks ago and three kids about this age next to us started messing around with lacrosse sticks and a ball. It looked pretty fun actually. They started playing near and in the waves like you would with a football.......until one of em dropped it. I guess lacrosse balls don't float, they were sad pandas. Tough enough to play lacrosse, not tough enough to dive underwater to find their ball.

Bingo

I have no problem with the sport itself, its actually pretty intense. But, 90 percent of lacrosse players are douche-bags.

Concussions? Really? Concussions aren't difficult to get.
