High school basketball player passes ball to mentally challenged player on other team.

I decide which sport is more demanding by looking at which sport leaves me most exhausted after the game. Baseball, football, golf, and volleyball, sports that only require infrequent movement, just do not tire me very quickly.

therefore distance running and cycling are the pinnacle of athletic achievement? so really everyone's an enormous pussy for not doing either of these?

I detected your shitty attempt at sarcasm, but it is fucking easy.construction workers do exactly what you just described for about double the time, every day, and they actually have to put some effort in to get stuff done.

I guess it's good that the 4 hours is broken up by 9 innings. If you cannot stand 45 minutes in some pads then you're a fucking pussy. Stop trying to make being a catcher sound so bad ass or tough because it's not. Shit being a caddy is so rough bro, it's the toughest position in golf so like it's one of the toughest in all of sports.

Whoa bro, do the pads get heavier when you like go pro or something? The hand signals get harder to read? Shit, I didn't know I was responding to someone who actually played at a COMPETITIVE LEVEL! That's astounding!

Pitches get faster. Less reaction time. Runners get faster. Harder to throw people out. Games get longer. More time behind the plate. It's the hardest position in baseball

Wait one second here. I came onto this thread to see the video, which was great by the way, and then laugh at you guys all arguing about sports and how much they make your fat asses sweat. I wasn't planning on joining this argument and I'm sorry for tainting what should be a happy thread, but you cannot try and tell me that volleyball doesn't take that much effort. You try and tell me that and you are wrong. Flat out, no buts, no exceptions. I mean have you ever even watched volleyball, let alone played volleyball? /rant

I'm with this guy. Volleyball gets real intense. No hate but I'm clinically underweight 6'4 weighing 160 is not good apparently

That's not saying much for baseball if the catcher is the hardest position... jesus even talking about baseball sounds like describing gay sex.

Yeah I know, it sounds a bit as ridiculous as saying being a catcher is a hard position to play... you must enjoy rollerblading in your off time.

You seriously have to be under 14. You are bashing something you don't have any knowledge about. Have you ever played a catcher at a high level? No. So stop acting like you are better than everyone because your sport is more "physcically demanding" according to your parameters.

Respect each sport for what it is and don't act like one is better than the other because there is honestly no comparison between each sport. They are all so different and require different physical abilities to perform well in.

This is what people who play baseball say when others bring up how unathletic you can be and still be really good at baseball.

Going back to the thread subject! This gave me the chills. Having a sister with down syndrome. I got faith now in humanity!

3/4ths of the hall of famers did including the highest revered baseball player of all time... they were all really chubby. What you married to the GAME of baseball? You're defending it like it was your own bitch.

No I never said that, I simply stated that you don't have to be in great physical shape to be really good at baseball. Your cardio could be absolute shit and you could still totally make league MVP. Long stints of physical stamina simply aren't required by the game, it's a simple fact.

Im just saying that constantly running isnt what makes a sport a sport. Baseball is on the lower end of running as far as most major league sports go. But running isnt what makes a sport which is all skiierman thinks a sport is made of. But to say that someone can have absolute shitty cardio and still be ana amazing player is bullshit for any sport out there. That levek of cardio changes for each sport but nobody with "shit cardio" is going to be playing any major league sports nowadays.

Listen dude not only was David Wells a fat slob and whiter than white, he was drunk and still threw a no hitter- and running up a full flght of stairs would kill the fkn guy, no question.

Still not convinced you can be an unathletic slob and still kill it out on the field?

Should I go on??? I'm not saying being athletic means nothing, that would be silly. I'm saying that baseball is the most leisurely pro sport going, it's just not a very active game like the others- and fat people get passes all day long if they can throw or hit- Hell, people that make the average uncle look downright fit have been the best players of their day numerous times. If you have a problem with admitting that, you're probably just insecure about it and not really being objective about the discussion at hand.
