High School Bans Yoga Pants

I hate to be 'that guy' who just throws a name out, but you know someone called Tristan from highschool? probably a year or two younger than you
 
the only tristan i know is tristan daniels. or know of, for that matter. i graduated HS in '04, so i dont know, it was a while ago.
 
Hahah I went to a private Catholic high school where we had to wear khakis or dress pants and I still wore yoga pants and managed to get by with only getting 3 notices. Nothing comes between me and my yoga pants. They are the comfiest shit ever.

My main complaint is that the supporters of this think uniforms solve everything. I see the reasoning for a religious school banning them as they generally don't support women showing off their curves.
 
I cheered in high school and under our skirts we wore the same fucking things as the girl volleyball players, "Spankies." For some fucking reason, we got so much shit for them and had parents complaining left and right. Seriously?

I can't say I agree with the "banning" of yoga pants, but I totally understand where they're coming from. Think about every post in here, reasons why guys like yoga pants, and why girls love them as well. I mean they perfectly accentuate the ass.
 
I think you and I might be. I can see why they banned it from school. Young girls can dress like sluts while they ride around in the back of rebecca blacks car after school.

I'm in no way pushing for a uniform or ridiculously formal attire but I have no problem with enforcing the dress code.

People push the boundaries hard on an already generally lax dress code. I have no problem with the school drawing the line. I think it's pretty sensible to require students to wear something wear their ass isn't so visible.

Grab your stones and rotten fruit people. INB4 my karma plummets anymore.

 
I easily see your reasoning, and I would gladly agree, except I love watching hunnies walk down the hall before class. So if I wasn't in high school i'd probably agree with you. +k for you, you gentleman
 
Actually, Fuck that. There's nothing wrong with Yoga pants. Everyone stares at them, and they dont show any skin. I love them, fuck anyone who doesn't
 
1. they are made of the most comfortable material, therefore they are comfortable.

2. they make us feel sexy, which we like.

3. it's a trend... that looks good... it's going to be followed.

4. when fat girls wear yoga pants, I have absolutely no idea what they are thinking...
 
if i had a quarter for every fat chick who wears yoga pants, uggs, and a north face i'd be rich as FUCK.

It does make sense banning them, dress codes in school are kind of a joke, at least at my highschool they were. That being said if I were still in highschool I would be against it.
 
They are not banned. You can still wear them with a tall shirt covering your cameltoe. Which I think is how this should be wear. I'm a sucker for tall clothes with leggings.
 
on a side note, i just flew to hawaii and back last week and i noticed most, if not all the bangin girls in the airports were wearing yoga pants. so if your flying, keep an eye out. i guess they are comfy huh.
 
worst yoga pants are the ones that look good in the beginning and then like an hour later they make your ass look like it's melting.

Catholic schools here arent private. They have just as much funding and sometimes even more than the public board and accept all religions.
 
all the catholic schools in my city already don't allow yoga pants.they only have skirts, dress pants and sweatpants

how is this big news?
 
Yoga Pants FTW!!!!! They weren't as popular back when I was in high school. I remember a lot of those Pink / juicy sweats things though, not as awesome.
 
Sweatpants= :(Sweatpants, as they are comfy, they're one of the most unattractive thing to wear. Very few look good in sweats, no matter how Juicy
