High-Res Backcountry Shots

Hi NS, I am currently creating a 16-page ski magazine for my publishing design class. I need lots of high-res images of backcountry action shots of cats going big. I was checking out freeskier.com, powdermag.com and even our own gallery here on NS, but I am not finding anything too worthy.

Let me know where I can find a bunch of images that are high-res, magazine worthy. Maybe you guys even have images you would not mind sharing in the name of a design school project.

Look up the prominent ski photographers and film production companies and look at their work?There are magazine shoots every year for the various companies to show off their athletes and the posters usually come out pretty sick, maybe inquire about getting a digital copy a poster?

Also, I have trouble believing that major ski magazine companies do not have suitable shots...

 
Yeah I'll be sure to look into different ski photographers sites.

You are right though, they have great photos on the magazine's websites, BUT they are too small to create a full-page bleed...
 
look through the top rated pictures, im having a hard time understanding how you did not find anything worthy...
