I am seriously thinking about going to this camp this summer. I wanted to know a few things tho, first of all has anyone here been there? Second in Freeze magazine it says that like Jp Auclair and Mike Douglas coach there but does this mean that they show up for like one day or what? And another, right now I can throw donw sketchy 5's and grind alright, if I go what do you think the chances of me coming back knowing like 3's and grinding sick rails? anyways shout a holler if you get a chance...... PEACE

I am headed there this summer....I think Mike D coaches at SMS camps...shane Szocs is at Highnorth....You can go to there web page and email coaches directly...they are good and fast at getting back to you...

I went last year (HN) and I need to register (prolly today) for this summer. It was so sweet, HN rocks but any camp up there is cool. Mike D coaches SMS along with vinnie, philou, sarah maybe a phil and some other cool coaches. HN's coaches kinda vary, but no matter who is there, they all are so nice and cool to hang around with. The 'regular' coaches at HN are somethin like this: shane, turpin, mike a, julien, loubeck, toben, anthony b and more I forgot. I think JP and JF came 2 summers ago but not last summer, they skied hood. Other pros rotate through I think, Morrison showed up the last day of my session and I think a few others came and went. Any more ?s pm me, I remember asking about camp last year and not knowing anything.

Oh yeah, with your skills youll be FINE, a lot of ppl last summer were learning to just air over the small table and some wouldnt even touch the small rails. It really doesnt matter about your ability, people think they have to be able to stomp 7s to go, but its the opposite. As long as you are comfortable on blue/black runs and have hit tables before its all good. Its not really intimidating either, yeah there will be some guys who stomp sick tricks with effortless style but they arent the majority. No one will ever laugh at you unless you try and be annoying or shit like that. Some kid who I saw on tv this year (us open) gave me props for stickin my first backflip, everybody has fun no matter their ability.
