High North Ski Camp

I've never been to ski camp, or any other type of camp in my life, and i really want to go and i hear that this is the best. Anyone who has been there have any comments? Are the people pretty cool, because i'm a pretty shy guy, but really want to go! Also, should I go alone, or with a friend, because i hear that it is a better experience just going alone. Any opinions or comments would really help me out.

Well I've never 'been' to HN but I've hung out there a little bit and its definately a relaxed atmosphere. It seems like the campers have a good time too. I'd say that if you have the opportunity to go, do it because you're lucky,

and you'll probably have a great time.

As far as going with friends or alone, it may be cool to just go out alone and meet some new people.

WIFreeskier, I hear what you're saying, I'm in the same position as you except I decided to just go for it so I'm going to session 1. I'm pretty shy as well but I'm sure it'll be cool, it'll be dopeto be around a shitload of people who feel exactly the way I do about skiing. Go for it dude!

after reading your opinions, I have decided to go for it. I'm gonna go to session 2. I would go to session 1, but i gotta get my driver's license and finish the school year. It'll be awesome, and i'm sure i'll me some cool kids out there! I can't wait!

should i go to session 1 or 5? is there still snow by session 5? i'd be going by myself, working 40 hour weeks, and selling everything that i own on ebay. is it worth all that for 5 days of skiing?

 
the thing is, is high north really worth that shit load of money? and i dont want opinions from little brats who have their parents pay for everything because of course u like it cause u didnt pay for it

I was planning on heading out to camp this summer until i went and fucked up my knee. So now im pretty much out till next season!!

i highly recomend high north to anyone who's interested in heading to whistler for camp this summer...all the coaches are super enthusiastic and it's a rad atmosphere

cant expect everyone to see shit the way i see it, cant expect anyone to be dope the way i be it
