Probably because you kept asking what tricks you learn. Listen, there is no fixed curriculum okay? The camps don't go out claiming: today you'll learn the switch cork 10 'cause it'll be the money trick at comps this year, etc...
You fill out a form at the beginning stating what you'd like to work on (generally). They'll put you in a group with similar aspirations, you'll be encouraged, coached, videoed, and hopefully, you'll learn the trick. It's up to you. Got it?
Momentum and High North have some amazing coaches - and the good ones (IMO) are usually not the 'next big things'. Cases in point: Andreas Berthold, Trennon Paytnor, Shane Szocs.

Demo days allow all skiers to try different skis to find out which ones reward their brand of poor technique.
