i'm gonna take a guess and say not many people here have been to both so theyre just gonna say the one that theyve went to...

 
coc is a better camp if you're just getting into the park scene, or you're not very good and want smaller features to work on, with a few larger ones to step up to

high north has the bigger features and more gnarly rails, but also has a few small features for beginners

it really depends on your skill level

i do believe there were some mediocre rails at high north, they're definately not all burly like their new 2 kink and the s rail

i would suggest the new kids on the scene to go to coc, and kids with more experience to hit up high north

I'm a beginner and I went to High North. I had a good time. there's deffinatly things there that beginners can hit and work up to. this year there was a rythm section of all smaller hits. I never got bored at HN and everyone there is super supportive and will help you out. coc seemed like a lot less supervision and HN was more organized. but I could be wrong.........but YAY HIGH NORTH!!!!!

COC has soooooo many more rails... lol without a cance more... and the coaches at COC are a lot cooler i mean u got the 4frnt team coaching!! what could be better than that... oo and also the activities to do afterwards are a lot better at COC... they also have a lot more......does High North have a 160ft. bungee jump? i don't think so! but COC does! COC also has mroe terrain. High North is next to about 4 other summer camps all on that one part of the glacier...

 
^who cares if u have more, high norths r way more sick and LESS PEOPLE and the activities are fun enough anyways, ur already too tired at the end of the day anyways

yeah high north may not have as many rails but the ones they do have like the s rail and stuff are really fun, i spent hours just doing the s-rail, and the jumps and coach's are better too. and they have plenty of smaller stuff for beginners.

coc does have more rails but none of them are that great, and plus you have to use the public t-bar which really sucks. and you will be stuck with like 100 kids instead of like 50 at high north and like 70% are snowboarders.

so go to high north

haha most of that is bullshit lol.... better coaching? i think not...COC has so many 4frnt coaches it is soo sick... lets see one of your coaches pull a double backflip off the clif on the face above coc... yea i don't think they can.. but Matt Sterbanz did! ... most rails are flat and short? i think not maybe 2 flat and short rails.... trust me that can't be short if Austin Ramley (one of the COC coaches) also one of the dopest riders who is in Shanghai Six can almost pull a 810 off one of them to tear his ACL i think the rails are better.. oo and how many camps are using your t-bar? like 5? lol yea... trust me the lines are jsut as long... it was pretty easy to see... i would give u better jumps.. but thats cause the winter sucked.. there was like no snow... also we did have a sick sick 70footer... did high north have a 70footer? no no i don't think so...

 
dude the public t-bar is so much more crowded, and whoo "4frnt" coachs, cool, high north HAS BISHOP! haha and the olenicks, amba, turpin, and many more, also, like someone else said b4, all the rail r better at hn, and so are the jumps, and whoo 70ft? i highly dout that maybe 50, there no snow!

oo and if u need to see how much fun COC is... jsut check search "NIPPLES" under the vids and u will see how cool things can get haha

 
lol on talk to anyone that went to COC about the jump size.... and as for the rails... all u have to do is check the pics at the website... there are sooo many of them we have teh s-rail, teh roller, the kinked, the flat down, the U-shaped one, and some other sick rails...

ooo and i forgot...

I DON'T FRIGGING THINK HIGH NORTH HAS A TETERTOTER RAIL!!! yea what not bitch! COC does!

 
depends wat your looking for and how good of a skier you are and wat your favorite things to do are rails or jumps

half the rails at coc were set up terribly this year

ones like the rollercoaster and such...

the jump may have been a 70 but with such a little takeoff that it was so sketch

high norths 60 footer was so large

it had a takeoff 3 times as wide

atleast twice as tall

and a steeper landing

High north's t-bar has at most 4 camps on it

and they are all smaller camps

public t-bar is home to hundreds of the public and hundreds of COC people which makes it a lot more crowded on almost all days

and whatever someone said about a double backflip... WHAT?? that was not a good point at all

...we're not aerialists here

High north may have the same number of good coaches as COC but the amount of coaching from these coaches is greatly different

and COC may have more area for there park but thats simply needed to cover fpr the 100 some snowboarders you'll be riding with if you go there

I got a clarification from him tonight, HN for more technical stuff - more a true skiing progression camp. COC - more fun, more to do, more good times, progress as fast or slow as you want.

i would go to high north but im not that good lol... i can like 3 almost 5 over like 20 footers i havent tried to spin off a 30 and up

 
no matter what camp you go to I think you'll have a sick time. and no matter what camp you're still SKIING during the summer, which is sick itself. I went to HN and had a dope time, so I'm gonna say go to HN. but either one is probaly going to be the best time you've ever had.

^^and yeah if u go to any camp your gonna have fun, and whichever camp u went 2 u are gonna defend, but overall high north is better than COC, just by looking at the setups this year, and i was at hn last year, and saw coc, and how crowded it was and shit, hn def a better choice, but that doesnt make coc bad

EVERYBODY WHO COMPLAINS ABOUT NOT HAVING THEIR COACH AROUND TO TEACH THEM AT COC WAS OBVIOUSLY JUST SCARED TO ASK FOR HELP. I ASKED MY COACH AND HE TAUGHT ME ONE ON ONE PRACTICALLY THE ENTIRE TIME. SO QUIT COMPLAINING ABOUT THE LACK OF COACHING AT COC
