HG Skis

Pre ordered the Keegan Kilbride model in August, expected ship date was November 15th. Since then, the ship date has delayed twice, now to December 23rd. The skis I'm on now are completely destroyed, so I won't be able to ski at all for winter break unless I cancel the order and order new skis, which I'm thinking about. Any suggestions?

Snag a "urban condition pair" on here if you're desperate. I saw a couple pairs of skis in the sub $100 shipped range on BST.

I did not even see that email until I saw this... I have some Transfers waiting for me that I was going to go walk down the street to pick up from the HQ. Definitely worth waiting though.

Update: The bottom of my skis is really messed up so I can't ski til the HG's come. Luckily they ship tomorrow.

Do it OP.

Unless there's a hole in the ski, it's literally broken in half, or 10"+ of edge missing, they're probably perfectly fine.

What's it matter if OPs skis are skiable or not? He paid money for skis that were promised by a date that has since long passed. Is HG offering customers anything in return for the bad business?

This seems to be a common problem lately with these smaller companies.

It doesn't.

I just see so many kids bitching about how their skis are unskiable when there's a core shot or a piece of edge missing. Flatten that shit out with a file, fill er up with ptex and keep going.

$100 credit i think it was and its on the manufacturer so not much HG can do

I ordered the same skis and I called and asked when they would arrive and they said 5-3 days.

Dumbest thing you could do is buy another pair of skis.

Just wait...

Have Patience.

I ordered revisions in September and im in the same boat as you. I bought edollos to replace the revisions, but unlike you I CANT cancel my order. I will probably return the revisions when they come.

but actually those things are in pretty bad shape

The good thing is that my left ski allows me to nose butter very well because of the top sheet rising forming a hole. Only the left ski. I can really feel the carbon olliband
