"Some" Fords have always been cool.
I like the look of this new Focus RS and the AWD with a trick diff at the back will be interesting to see how it performs over the more "traditional" LSDs and e-diff.
On thing however will be the price. It'll be a big surprise if it comes in at under £30,000 (roughly $45,000USD), which will be expensive, even for a Ford hatchback. Time will tell however.

And it's a V6 twin-turbocharged 3.5-liter EcoBoost as opposed to the V8. Which was a smart move on their part. US emission laws are only going to get stricter. And because of that I feel it is smart to stay ahead of the game. Plus with automotive technology ever increasing and more and more power being pulled out of smaller engines with the aid of turbo's, superchargers, ect... the idea of more CI equals more power is no longer completely true (To an extent, of coarse).

Im hyped to finally see the RS come to America....Except ITS A FUCKING 4 DOOR. The old RS's were 2 doors in Europe and so is the Euro Fiesta ST and Im sick of big four door wagons in Amerca. Still though Id buy one over an STI hatch. Plus theres a possibility for a Fiesta RS with the Focus ST engine and awd!!

And boy do I want the RS. Manual. AWD. Powerful engine in a little car. Seems like a great semi-sleeper everyday car and skimobile if the wing doesn't run into a roofbox (or could be switched out for a smaller spoiler for increased stealthiness and clearance). I'll probably need a larger car next time I'm in the market, but I love this.

ford's lineup gets better and better every year. They put out cars people want and give some nice options in the lineup. The RS will be an amazing car no doubt. Hopefully it isn't priced to high. Then again insurance will be through the roof for that car.
