hey, i'm new to the forum and i just thought i'd say hi, name's trevor and i'm from oregon. i had a question...this season i'm rockin 185 karmas and they are amazing, best things i've ever skied. but i'm lookin for somethin just for rails and boxes cause i don't feel like thrashin the edges on my karmas. i have it narrowed down to 3 skis: K2 Fujative, K2 PE, and head mad trix. i don't know much about the mad trix cause we don't carry them at the shop i work at, and i think i might be to big for the fujatives (6'5', 230lbs). so if you guys could give me some insight that'd be great, Thanks

 
i think a 179 fujative should be alright for a rail ski.

I don't think you want something as stiff as the mad tricks for messing around in the park.

Maybe try out some Ninthwards or AR5s?

i would think you would destroy either of those skis, because of your weight. it would be hard to find a good flexy park ski for that weight, but i would say the ar5, or maybe the skogens

i'd still never touch salomon bindings with a 30 foot pole. they pre-release like its their job to.-lanks

I agree, the pe's would have a little more balls for someone of your height and weight. But hell, a 181 1080 would work for ya, a big scratch fs would be ok, and even the skogen would be good. Those would all be good for everything for you, ie park and pipe. Just a rail ski doesn't need to be so well rounded, you could probably go with anything really, as long as its long enough for you. personally i dont give a shit what I jib with as long as it's as tall as I am.

yea, i think i'm gonna go with the PE's, somethin like a 1080 or skogan would be nice...but i'm tryin to keep it cheap since it's just for rails. thanks for all the help
