end debt by legalizing weed and then the government can make billions of profit. they grow some of the best. and then more people then already do smoke will probably start since its legal. then the shooting and drug dealers will be out of business and it will be controlled by the government or soething. its a plan that i beleive has a HUGE potental in ending USA debt and causing more peace between populations. cuz we are killing more and more everyday. no stoner wants to kill, and if he does its over a scam or robbery. someone taking his shit or getting ripped off. if the gov. supplies the shit for a cheaper prive then streets it will soon draw all druggies into buying from the government.

Well, it's only fair to request such solutions if you "conservative" people have something to offer. I didn't see any in your post.

This is the classic "I don't have anything substantial to say supporting my party's actions, so I'll just criticize liberals instead of acknowledging failed policy and leadership" argument.

Also: that's a pretty vague question. What exactly are the liberals complaining about? What problems are they supposed to fix? Or was this just some angst driven bullshit?

ok, the point of this thread? i had a rather heated one hour discussion with a fellow republican, and it all came down to the fact that we both felt that all the democratic party does (we're talking the actual politicians) is complain.

For Example -

Instead of complaining about how big of a mistake Iraq was (which isn't saying i personally agree) we can at least put our differences aside now that we are there, support our troops, and figure out the best method to pull out of their, while leaving them with a stable democratic state.

Has anyone here actualy served in iraq? Or know someone personaly who has served? I know someone who did not believe in this war, but as a member of the service they went, and after going they are now 100% for it, they saw first hand how thankful the iraqi people are for what we did, but all of you don't see that, why? because the media doesnt show the good... only the bad because thats where the story is...

hahahaha what a tool. I'm calling BS on this one here, that sounded pretty generic. Anyway, from my high school graduating class and the class above me, all totaling about 90 kids, 5 of my friends are in Iraq right now. And of one of my friends I've known the longest just got back. He told me that if he is called up again, he is going to commit a small crime and go to jail instead of going back. The friends I'm contact over in Iraq HATE...HATE...HATE it there. Days and days and days of boredom interspersed with lifethreatening situations. Horrible diahrrea from some bacteria, etc. They like the kids over there, but that's it. So yeah, that's why I think your story is BS. Because I know 6 very diverse people that are over there or just got back and they are all unanimous in saying the government owes them 1 year of their lives.

For Katrina, i blame the local Governments. They were given billions of dollars to build and improve their levies, money which was instead squandered on retarded public work projects like moving a fountain 500 ft. They could have easily built up the levies, and not been hit as hard, but thats the way it is. Our Government is corrupt, yes, that means republicans, AND democrats...but thats teh way it is sadly.

Also, Bush told the local governments to evacuate, but they decided to wait an extra day, which COULD have made all the difference... Also, i do not believe the State Governments realized how many people there were that couldnt transport themselves..

Lemme just remind you guys of something. The President is in charge of Running the ENTIRE country. the state governments are supposed to be in charge of stuff like this.

i dont know if kerry would have been better, i do know that dean would have been better tho. Bush is a bastard absobed far too much in freign countries, and not his own. he is in iraq for oil, and there is no 2 ways abotu it. the 9/11 conspiracy is all falling into place for him. he sacrifices hundreds of thousands of lives in NY and DC so he can say that the ends justified the means, but they wont bc too many people are dying in Iraq right now to make up for the "war on Terror"
