i live in whitefish and i know they arent playing yearbook, but im wondering too what movies are playing at this years premier

 
whack as in it was put together like shit. they put in far too much footage, much of it super repetitive, and it also lacked a common theme (and the high school theme is not what i am talking about). if any of you watch snowboard movies, and have seen love hate, you know what i am talking about. every section in that movie fit into the movie as a whole.

 
hmmm thats interesting...lets see montana+parks=undefined. the big mtn kinda has a bit of a weak park i dunno i've seen better.

Big mountain has the potential for a fun ass park, but we'll see. They just need someone to take charge, get some organization. Imma see about getting a job on park crew over x-mas break.

Yearbook is def worth seeing, even if there are some weak sections.

there is a premiere coming up soon. Storm shadow's movie plays on thursday ? i think (10-21-04, could be the 22nd though. I'm not exactly sure where it is either. It's def in Missoula, it was at Urey LH last year. They will be giving away mad shit, last year I got a sick ass camo pack and a video. I bought $5 worth of raffle tix though. It might be coming to the Flathead area too, just keep your eyes open. They are playing sick new snowboard vids too, by the way Stormshadow is based out of bozeman and they film alot of people from montana.

Yearbook was wack because of Shane and JTs 20 minute long skibasejump segment. It was cool the first couple times in Focused, but it got old so fast. There is no progression in skiing off a cliff and pulling a parachute.

 
that would be cool if we got a skiier on the park crew at bigmtn. what we also need ot do is start bugging big mtn to let us give imput into the park. if we have a preseason meeting , and a comment box, they will know what we want. and if we do our part and we put forward thoughtfull, well planned out ideas and explain why we think they will be a good idea(no, they will not turn chair 2 into a complete park just because we ask), they should listen. if anyone has any good ideas, that are not too far out, post em. thanks for reading my rant.

Nevermind my comment about subsect playing in missoula today (10-21-04). TGR's film plays today at urey lecture hall, tix are 8 dollars at the door and it starts around 7 pm. Stormshadows movie plays on oct 23rd i believe. not sure location yet.

About Big mtns park, I like having the park on the backside, its cool. There is awesome terrain to have a flowy park and then you can see peeps riding it on the way up. The big table last year blew ass and it was so easy to overshoot, i hurt my back pretty bad because i was going to fast. They need to make the jumps safer. I would like to see a rail line next to the jumps, like mammoth or whis does. Plus the backside run is nice and long. You could start the park right up from the beginning of white tail, which would be sick!! They just need to work harder on it and get some plans. I am definately going to try and get a job up there.

Hell yeah, you know exactly what you are talking about, we need a lot more jumps and jumps that are actually made right... usually all of the jumps have bombed out landings and lips that are not made for the jump, we definetly need some people that know how to make a park and have it flow...

true...true...true. but rumor has it (from a damn good source) that we are supposed to be getting a super pipe this year, which'll be tight if we do. but i agree with y'all we need help. big time.
