1st off i am sry if there is another section in the fourm where this has been covered ....i explored the fourms a lil and havent realy had any luck .
I have been sking for the past 7 yrs and only seceriously got into park and jumps in the last few years....currently i am rideing on dynastar trublemakers 175cm ...with a look p 12 binding .....and a solomon 1080 foil boot ( i am 6 foot and weigh 195lbs) my question is are my skis right for me? my set up right now seems heavy and cinda aquward on some of the boxes and rails. what part of my set up should i change 1st ....if any at all. As of right now i dont have the money to change more then 1 aspect of my setup ... so which part needs the change the most?

Well the troublemaker is a pretty stiff ski, which at your weight is good. If your boots weren't done by a boot fitter I would do that first. Bindings aren't really that important and those skis are a good match for a big man.

first off, amazing spellingsecondly, go to the best bootfitter in ur area, and have them fit you, makes one hell of a difference dude, seriously

no, they are p12s, very different.

your ski and binding setup are fine. so the only thing you may want to change are the boots.

do you have any problems with the boots, are the comfortable, fit right?

don't call someone out on spelling mistakes when you're guilty of them yourself.

OP, judging from what you've said, and other people have already mentioned, is that your skis and bindings are fine. what might feel awkward on boxes/rails about the skis could be due to the mounting point. if you've got them mounted at traditional, that will give you a lot of tip and not a lot of tail, causing the ski to feel unbalanced. a remount can solve that problem pretty easily. the best thing you can do though is make sure your boots fit properly. if you don't have aftermarket footbeds, that's your first step.

^golden post. check out your boots.

I ride trouble makers and I couldn't be happier. mine are mounted a little back too, When i started with them, I wasn't super impressed, but I changed boots from a low low end rossi to some fulltilts with a better flex and most importantly, a significantly tighter shell fit. The upgrade in boots did wonders, not only because the positive features on the Fulltilts( i.e. light weight, better buckling, active boot board) but more so because of the fit and flex of the boot.

ok guys thanks for your input ....i guess now i haveta look through the fourms to find a good local bootfitter cause it seems like most of the guys around here at the local shops have no clue what there doing.....and i will also take the remount into concideration........so would you guys say that the 175cm ski is the size i need ....i was concidering going down to like 166cm .....but i dont know like would the benifit i would gain in the park be overlooked by the fact they would suck for like just sking all the mountian ?

dont go under 175 for ski length, your a bigger guy and 175+ cm will be the right size for you. and troublemakers aren't a stiff ski whoever said that, they have a stiffer midseciton but pretty soft tips and tails. they're a great ski, stay with the skis and bindings you have, but check out the mounting point like the others said.
