Just wondering where everybody is heading off to this fall. I will be attending the Univeristy of Minnesota-Duluth. where are you going?

I'm going to Mines. I rank schools based on undergraduates earnings in the field once their out, and Mines was best in colorado.

 
SS, I'm saying that though Yale's program is obviously better, the quality isn't different enough to warrant the money you pay. You won't exactly be getting the department heads teaching first and second year courses. My Grandfather was a Harvard Fellow, this is from his experience. No one really cares where you went to school for undergrad anyways, they care a LOT more about your graduate degree, If you have one; if you don't want one, then why are you going to such a high quality school? I assume you'll be in for the long haul anyways. Just go to a high-standards school if you want a challenge or preparation for higher-level schools, or have fun at some other U. If you're rich, though, go for it.

ferris state univeristy in lower michigan, not much skiing around, but going there almost free is good too...save money for ski trips

I was born at #86 (McMaster). That's weird though that it beat out other good Ontario universities, like Queen's, Waterloo, etc. like someone above already said.
