Two Swiss students on holiday played frisbee with an object they found on a beach unaware it was a live land mine.

Lukas Aider, 20, and Christoph Kurz, 19, took a plunge in the Danube

river in Budapest when they found the mine and began their potentially

lethal game.

A lifeguard watching stopped them and immediately called the police.

A bomb squad then arrived to make safe what turned out to be an old Soviet 6 kilogrammes anti-tank mine.

and heres the mine

I wouldn't have known it was some war mine.....but I sure as hell wouldn't start playing frisbee with a 10 pound metal disc....

first of all, how the fuck do you throw a landmine, wouldnt it be heavy?

and second, this reminds me of the part of hot fuzz where they find the seamine and are kicking it and hitting it

hahahaha what bad asses.

i can see it now...

dude, don't do that you could get hurt.

n**** i played frisbee with a landmine, i can handle anything.

oh....shit

exactly what i was thinking. you could probably pick up some girls with that too. who cares if he benches 300 lbs. he can play frisbee with landmines haha

i hate to say it, but if i found that i would deffentally use it as a frisbee...... maybe thats why my mom always says im gunna die early.....oh well

oh wow there really luck that they didn't get totally blown up, good thing that the life guard was there and that he had some common sense. wow i cant beleave that a soviet lane mine was still there.

This is what happens when you're from a neutral country.. you dont know what military weapons look like.

god that would be a fun story to tell your freinds though.

"ya so i went in a river and found this metal thing and started to toss it around, then BOOM.... turns out the damn thing was an anti-tank mine." haha
