So I'm a lil tight on funds right now and I want to make my car sound better like are there any inexpensive ways to make my car sound better?
 
For almost free you can drill out your resonators and straight pipe it, which takes some skill and time, but its cheap at least. Just google it or something, there are probably tutorials. Or buy one of those dumb turbo whistlers (kidding)

Ghetto straight pipes are just really loud, they don't sound that good. But that is definitely an option for a dude on a budget

OP was vague, needs to specify car, if its relatively nice then look into straight piping, if its an unreliable car, it takes money to make it sound good
 
put a condom around your exhaust pipe, use duct tape to make it stick. Then cut a hole in the end of it, and fire up the engine.

But please if you are driving a prius or any car like it just save yourself the humility and buy a tank of gas instead.

My friend strait piped some kids saab and said it sounded sick, and if I know my saabs it should have a turbo so do the duck call thing like posted above
 
I want to straight pipe it but I can't do that shit myself and idrk anyone who could hmm anyone live in NY that's knows wat they doin?
 
If you're gonna straight pipe it just make sure you don't toast your engine because your car's air sensors don't know what's happening or something. If it's not a turboed car it actually needs some exhaust back pressure which would be a possible problem if you go cutting all the cats out. If it is turboed, it doesn't need that back pressure, but your car's ECU will be set to meter and control with some certain settings (Like the back pressure) in mind, so you might end up throwing fireballs or something from suddenly running stupid rich.

It does have a turbo and I did see online that the computers will get confused and fuk shit up sometimes so I just gota look into it a lil more

Actually just buy a Blow Off Valve that vents to atmosphere, straight pipe it, and enjoy the large fireballs that result. Nobody would ever expect a Saab to do that, it would be fantastic.
 
dude its not particularly that cool of a car. You have a decent reliable car. Why screw with it? Its never going to sound like a ferrari. Just enjoy it for what it is.
 
Just drill some holes in your exhaust piping, will be louder, then when your sick of it just fix the holes. Lol
 
Keep in mind emissions testing whatever you do because a lot of these "cheap" methods will cost a shit ton when you have to get a new exhaust to pass emissions.

Muffler delete just replaces the muffler with a piece of pipe, straight pipe removes the cat and resonator as well.

Muffler delete is a lot less cutting and welding.
