Whats up guys,

I just started a cult for NS music producers or anybody looking to learn about the greatest Digital Audio Workstation known to man, Ableton Live. It's called the Ableton Live Cult (no shit) and I made it essentially so that NSers can learn about this program and share their own music with before releasing and critique it without being douchebags about it like most idiots who dont know what the fuck they are doing in NSG. If you have a song or an album you want to release but you have no idea if it is good or not, we can kindly take a listen and help you get it to where you want it to be. I will try to pull up and organize the best tutorial videos from the internet that I can find just to make it easier to learn this stuff without having to sift through the bullshit that exists on youtube.com.

If you do not use Ableton but want to learn more about it, feel free to join! this is the perfect cult for you.

Ableton is used by most top producers and studios now a days, so it is a great program to know. not to mention it is a bad ass motherfucking program that allows the user to engage in awesome workflow compared to other DAW's.

PM me for an invite!

for recording pro tools is better, i agree. but Ableton live has much better work flow than pro tools. and i haven't used pro tools but I've been told that Ableton is similar.

*ahem* gentlemen I use Logic and clearly it is the best.

Any chance I can get an invite? Not an ableton user but I can probably contribute.

ive been toying around with some music programs for a while, but just never have actually put the needed time into learning them. I would really like to learn to DJ with ableton though, you can do some pretty crazy stuff with it.

word. well my daw of strength is ableton so I will be able to help with that, and with plugins. i guess ill just change it to DAW cult then. who all wants in?

id love to participate and help with stuff. My dad is a music producer (and a mod on M-Audio forums lol) so I could always help people if they have pro tools questions or problems.

ill take one, i have live 8 and will be having more time to play widdit after schools out

I just started/posted a video pool for NI Massive. panojibber also posted some cool stuff on EQing and Compression. These are all worth a look. If you want to join, just request to join or send me pPr

The best DAW is the one that suits your creative process. For some it is Pro Tools or Ableton. For others, it's a 4-track tape deck.

a 4-track tape deck is not a digital audio workstation. but i see what you are saying and agree 100%2Pr

NS producers cult is weak no offense. Plus by being the cult creator I have more control over what goes dowPr

bump. I just uploaded a bunch of epic videos for Ableton Beginners, and have an assload of other videos and threads up. Check it out! the cult is called "DAWs&quot%3Pr

this sounds sick! never used ableton, but i used cubase for a couple years. got fed up with it, didnt really spend enough time to fully understand it.

I wanna get back into recording this summer (less MIDI though...) and I am looking for new software so this cult might be handy. PM'd

my bad dog. ill get you invited right now. it'll be nice to have some reason users in there as wePr

I just put up a link to a free 808 drum sample pack, anyone thats in the cult should check it out! IF you haven't heard of the Roland 808 drum machine, its the iconic hip hop drum machine. The 808 originally came out in the 80s and has been a ridiculously huge success, considering that its sound has played a significant part in defining the sound of hip hop music.
