Hestra windsteat pro mitt

Anyone rock these? A patroller at Snowbird recommended them to me. Been a glove guy, but my hands always seem to get cold so turning to mitts. I hear the windsteat mitts are super warm. I ski alta and snowbird mostly. Would they be too warm? Also how is it gripping poles? I hear they aren't super bulky so gripping isn't too bad. Thanks
 
I got a pair of these for snwbrdmilf last year because her hands are always cold... Not anymore! Fkn awesome mitts and they have the finger separators in them too so your hands don't get gross and sweaty. Also really cool wrist cuffs with leashes so you can take them off to do shit and never worry about dropping them off the lift. Just get a can of Hestra balm and a can of Sno Seal and you should pretty much have them for life.

Awesome mitts. Expensive, but awesome. Another option if you've got the coin is any of the Arc'Teryx Alpha SV Mitts or gloves... And of course the warmest fucking mitt of all time (a little ugly but warm as hell!) in the vapor barrier employing designs in the following link:

Second this. I have a pair, my hands get cold easily and these mittens rock. Obviously you lose a lot of dexterity, but so be it. Id rather have toasty hands 99.9% of the day
 
So I know mittens are harder to grip poles than gloves, but do you all find gripping poles to be a problem with the hestra mitts?
 
its a toss up between these and the fall line mitts for me. do the fall lines have the finger seperators too? loved that about my swanys last year.
 
Do the finger seperators make the mitts colder? I thought the reason mitts were warmer is because your fingers are together. Guess finger seperators may help dexterity though.
 
Nah, they're all together in there keeping each other warm, the separators just keep your fingers from getting gross and clammy/sweaty. I guarantee that the finger separators do not negatively impact the warmth.

As for dexterity, picking up dimes off the ground might be a stretch, but gripping poles should be no problem whatsoever.
