Anyone who has used these can you tell me how warm they are. Cause I've tried nice burton gloves and my hands always get cold. I have poor cicculation and I'm sick of cold hands. Also are they extremely waterproof or?

So I'm thinking that because these are $150 they should be pretty damn nice gloves, and if Seth uses them I'm sure they are good.

Just say anything that you know about these gloves cause I wanna just get a nice pair of gloves and not have to worry about buying a new pair for a while.

i know right. i bought a pair of $70 R.P.M. gloves and they were no different than my $30 Spyder gloves. not to mention the burtons were leather, and that was supposed to help....no

How are they in terms of water proofness?

I tried on some vert cut freerides at the shop yesterday and they were pretty good.

Did the vertical cut freerides seem really warm to you, because there aren't any shops around me so I might have to buy them online. I just want super warm gloves.

i dont understand why everyone wants to wear what the pros wear....i mean im sure they're a great glove but why not be ur own person and create ur own image?

Hestra gloves cost a shit load for a reason. They are absolutely legit. They use a really nice soft leather so they are the most comfortable gloves I have ever had, and they are really warm.

I'll need a pair of new gloves soon since my old ones are worn down real bad, so I made up my mind of getting Hestra gloves because I've heard nothing then good about them, so then I went on their website and checked out which ones I liked, the white Seth pro's are really nice, and they fit well with my either white jacket or dark green setup... sooooo, as soon as I find a pair I'll buy them (anyone know online Hestra dealers in Europe?).

Do I buy them because it says Seth Morrison on them? Nope, it's because I want Hestra gloves and because those ones, TO ME, look the nicest. I'd rather even have them saying nothing on it, but I don't care

Hope you understand how some people minds work.

Thread creator dude, do you already have them by now?

I've got the gloves...haven't worn them in the snow yet, but they seem pretty warm and way better than a similar Level glove I was wearing last year.

I haven't gotten my Seths Morrison Pro's yet because the shop I go to doesn't carry them. They make some of the fuckign stupidest marketing choices ever. No ski vids (everyone asks for movies all the time) and they finally make a deal with Solomon to carry salomon boots but they order ZERO pairs of SPK's (which everyone always comes in ans asks if they have them).

I'm going to a different shop this Wednesday to try on some Seth Morrison Pro's and get some SPK' though.

Does anyone know how waterproof they are?

Also are Oakley gloves any good? Cause they have good water proof ratings.

Hestras seem nice, but just drop $50 or $60 on a pair of Dakines. I have horrible circulation in my hands, and my Bronco GTs are the first gloves I've ever had that keep my fingers warm.

Yes I did smartass that's why I added that people always come in and ask for ski movies, and SPK's. The guys who work there ski newschool style and so do a lot of kids that go in there. So they definitely don't just market to racers and gaypers. They also carry all the 08 Oakley and have tons of it, so they do market a lot to "newschool".

I'm thinkin Dakine, Hestra, Oakley or possibly Level.

My hands have poor circulation so I need really warm gloves, my hands will not get too hot. WAter proofing is also really important cause I don't wanna be wet.

I don't know what "High Quality Pair" means exactly, but I've got the AK 3L glove from 2 years back and it is the shit. The world's only fully gore-tex glove. Or so they claim. Its a $200 glove but it is the shit. I ride in whistler, so its never really that cold, but I hardly even need to use the middle layer because the base layer gloves are sick. Plus they have a sticky-type layer on the inside so you have amazing dexterity.

That being said, a lot of the cheap burton gloves suck.

And with regards to Hestra, as a general rule, their gloves rock.

I didnt mean to come off like an asshole..my bad..my point is that it is a marketing strategy and newschoolers may only consume a small portion of their customer base...

Hey don't worry about it man. Ya, newschooler stuff used to be smaller but now it has gotten a lot bigger and they need to order some new stuff to compete with the other places around in the Seattle area.

The guys in the shop get tired of people coming in asking for SPK's and and movies and they guy who orders shit never orders the right stuff. Although they do carry Full Tilt boots now, which is pretty cool.

my dad just gave me those and i took them out today at stratton and it was snowing and pretty windy and my hands were toasty warm. the leather looks nice after you put the balm or whatever in it and yah i just got a good fit im pretty happy. they have the nicest curved fingers and just like perfect around the handle of the ski pole and the cuff around the wrist is so key and warm, no pow or wind and real easy to put cuff of coat over your glove. Perfect mobility and shit. only glove ive ever been able to stay warm in ive always had mittens.

Hestra is the most water proof and best fitting glove, the Vertical Cuts yes are very warm, so are the Seth's but the Seth's run a little tight compaired to other models, take that into account when trying on gloves for thier sizing, I wear a 9 in most Hestra's (Ski Cross, Vertical Cut, Snow Cross, Fall Line) but wear a 10 in the Seth's

Suprised no one has mentioned one of the best local PNW glove company around. POW GLOVES has awsome gloves from super warm gloves to pipe gloves like the shocker. My favorite all time glove is the SONIC as its a warm enough glove for pow days but also light enough for park days.

Dude, there sick gloves. I have about 22 days in my seth gloves and they rock man!! Once you work them in they have a nice form fit to them. I ove them so far.
