no way he was robbed. dumont killed it, he went way higher then tanner, and 2 huge cork 5's both directions.

if tannner did a unnaty cork 5 in his run with that 900 and 1080 he might have had a chance.

That was a great interview, the only thing that would have made it better is if he would have told the guy with the mic that his questions sucked.

 
Simon Dumonts run looks more appealing...it didnt like it, but I can see how the judges do. I think Tanner and CR had better runs.

Tanners final run was flawless with huge technical difficulty, compared to Simon's. Tanner is progressing while Simon does the same shit all the time.

the judging wasnt wicked bad, but after seeing someones first hit u could tell they werent gonna win, which kinda made it less fun to watch, cuz i saw tanners first hit and was like, hes not gonna win, and amplitude is a huge deal, but i dont think that someones run should come down to their first hit, and it really seems like the judges saw the first hit and then started scoring.

Dumont's landings were more sketch, which was the SOLE reason why other people got lower scores than they deserved. Jon's ENTIRE run was sooooooo smooth, and Tanner stomped the shit out of everything in his last run. Who the hell cares of Dumont went bigger? They need to keep the damn judging consistant. If they're going to score other people lower for sketch landings, then they need to do it for EVERYONE.

look at marion, possibly the most perfect run ever, perfect landings left and right (although there were two straight airs in his run), he had a 9, a 10, good amplitutde, unnaty shit.....but yet no one is bithcing about he should've done better

ya, i missed most of the runs because espn said it would be on at 9, not that they would be 3/4 of the way through at 9. i thought tanners run KILLED. Jon's run was sick too, but you could definately tell that jon and CR werent going as high. I definately think that Tanner's slopestyle run was better then Gagnier's though. I didnt see Dumonts pipe run, so i cant compare his to Tanners. All i know is dumont was acting like fuckin hugh heffner at the bottom of the pipe, walkin around, sippin a red bull, flashin smiles at the camera, yadda yadda. kinda got annnoying. but then again, im sure tanner would have done the nosame, so i dunno

Marion killed his last run, he def got a way lower score then he should have.

i hate how in sloypestyle and pipe for jon they kept saying, 'he makes it look to easy' and then there like it will hurt this scores cause it looks like he isn't doing as technincal/difficult tricks.... he was unreal this x.

don't try and say dumont didn't have style. his shit was SO high in the air and tweaked out to the max. that kid had angry steez going and it was sickkk.

It seems opinion is divided on the site between whether tanner or dumont (and even some others) should have one. But in the end the scores were 92 to 91 so maybe the judging wasn't quite so bad? after all the judging is just some peoples opinions like those here in NS...but I didn't get to properly see both runs because EXPN Raw kept fucking up so I don't know the judging could have been fucked up
