do them in the fresh piles of wet gloppy snow left from the snow guns. your tips dig in juuuuust right, allowing you to tip-stand with ease. pop, lock, and ride away with a little happy glint in your eyes.
no, not a nose butter. its like a tip stand, sans pole-planting, with a tail grab. garret russel does em alot, blake nyman did a trick tip video for it also. noseblock is a snowboard term.
So I've been rockin these this season, but I'm lookin for a little tip from my fellow NSers so I can make em a lil more consistent.
When you're doin noseblocks are you kinda jumping initially and then digging the tips in or are you going with a weight shifting, skis bending gradually approach?
lol blake's trick tip for nosepicks is probably one of the worst tutorials I've ever seen. He just says get on your tips and balance. Wow, thanks blake!
we dont make any snow up on hood and we get like 400-500 inches avg total snowfall but last yr we got 839 total inches or somthin like tht it was pretty epic.
